eh not really. More like the storysline is over (for now, they're planning on adding more later). There's still plenty left to build/discover, like the creepy ant head shrine and all the stuff in the shrubs by the house is a fun time.

How are you afraid of spiders in a video game that you aren’t even actively playing? I am a arachnophobe as well, I can’t stand the buggers in real life, but in games I don’t quite know how you could be scared of them, for me at least I would impart all of my vengeance on them in the game.

This is waaay unrealistic for a grounded simulator. I want a real fun realistic grounded game, where grounded is mostly about yelling at parents through door, crying too loud to attract pity and concern, trying to use the dog as an excuse for leaving the house. Hitting smaller sibling in frustration. Finally sneaking out, but then triggering the light sensors. But it should be VR.

This game reminds me of a book I read once where there was a little boy who got shrunken down and lived in a painting of a garden for days. He supposed to study for his biology exam, and because he gives all these insects the information in the textbook all hell kinda breaks loose. By spending so much time around these insects the boy gets to know them very well, but when he tries to reproduce this during his biology exam his teacher scolds him for it being bullshit. I wanna be like Erik, I wanna spend days in a garden being chased by a spider.

I've been real curious to see what this game would turn out like. I just finished my first year of a game dev course and a year-long project we had was to make a 3D platformer, and mine is a very similar idea but more like The Borrowers (people who just ARE small rather than normal people shrunk down). I'd started making it before the trailer for this came out, but glad to see that people like the concept :) It's called 'Demi' and it aims more for a... charming feel rather than horror (those wolf spiders are terrifying)! Hoping to make it available for others to play within the next couple of months if anyone wants to check it out.
