For me it's not cheating because you are receiving the penalty, it happened so many times in Motorsport that one team or driver discovers an advantage that is not illegal and take the opportunity, that requires study, awareness, passion, and of course the skill and guts to do it. Very good comment! So often people make comments about this game and you can tell they don’t really know about racing. You obviously know about racing. When I used to watch NASCAR a lot, I was really into it. There were times where the pit crew would purposely pull out the bottom panel of the car just before the rear wheel to affect aerodynamics. It wasn’t penalized at first, but eventually they made a rule about it. Or some teams got their hands on a torque gun that could get those Lugnuts on 1/20 of a second faster. You do that across 20 lug nuts, and you’ve got a 1 second advantage. That translates to a LOT of time on the track! Eventually they made everyone use the same gun. These types of things go on in every type of racing. If you’re not pushing the boundaries, you’re falling behind!

@@ME7_RR3 Thank you! Those things you mentioned are some of the reasons why I love Motorsport so much. It's much more than driving a car (as some people may say). There are hours and hours of studying tracks and their cars trying to discover an unwritten path which leads them to victory. And of course, is not only the driver who is behind the wheel but also an entire team giving their best to improve. When I was a kid I didn't understand why some teams were happy to finish in 10th place but nowadays I know the value of improving at least 0.1 second your lap time.

In endless endurance, anything goes. In a WTT this is so wrong & the developers should look at how to give a higher penalty

I hear you. They could definitely increase the penalty for being off track. I believe the initial penalty was 2 or 2.5 seconds when this new system started. Then there was a race at Spa in a high-speed car, where people would take the massive cut at the end of the lap and get a pretty big advantage. That’s when the initial penalty was increased to 4 seconds.

I also tried this shortcut last week but I couldn't be bothered to try and try again. I think this trick is fair, although it's more luck than skill based because of the grass upsetting the car randomly.

The grass thing is very interesting. It actually pulses at fixed times. That’s why you see me hitting the inside barrier so much. I was taking the cut at the wrong time and the pulse hit me right before the barrier. I learned this from doing endless Endurance races at Silverstone. There I learned the timing of the pulses. It’s actually the pulse that helps me get back on track quickly. But for that post to be an advantage, your car have to be slightly steering to the right when it hits at this track. If I was still tilted to the left when the pulse hit, it would send me more left. What’s really interesting is how off-track driving varies quite a lot from car to car. Some cars handle very good on track but then quite bad off-track. Then you get other cars where it’s the complete opposite. Most cars though, are fairly predictable as far as off track versus on track.

You went off track. You got a penalty. You overcame the penalty. The game counted your time and you didn't hack the game. It's fair.

HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?! I get that this is pushing the boundaries, but I generally try to do a clean lap every time due to the typical fear of time penalties. Maybe a 4 second time penalty at the millisecond the JESKO goes off track might not be enough at this track; could have gone for 10! 😂 2:45 “If you don’t like this video, give me a thumbs down” Even if I didn’t like the video, I cannot anymore because YT removed that feature 3 years ago. But since I actually like it, there’s an enormous thumbs up from me!

Hey there! This is a super rare occasion where it’s possible to overcome the penalty. This car might also overcome it’s penalty at Spa. Bugatti Bolide at either track would have even more of an advantage. By the way, I just checked, and you can still thumbs down a video. Maybe they just changed where you do it. I actually gave my own video a thumbs down to test it, and it did count. So far 2 people gave me a thumbs down. That’s excluding me of course😃. I undid my thumbs down!😅

Hi ME7. I've been having a lot of trouble with the race at Daytona Road corse, teir 17 for the Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo's exclusive series. I've tried putting my device in airplane mode and quitting and retrying a bunch of times. But the bots always make substantial gains on the speedway section and pull away and are nearly impossible to catch up to. Can you please make a video for tips and tricks. Because I think a visual example would be most effective. Thank you!😎

Hey there. Quit and retry usually won’t work for bot slowing in a series like that. You pick something really short in that exact same exclusive series, like the speed snap in tier 2. Fully run it and finish last every time about 10x. You should see a difference then. However, I love that car so I’ll give it a try. Sounds like you’re getting back to the gas. Too late, I’ll see what I can come up with.

No, that is proving very difficult for me! That’s a surprisingly technical track. I’ll have to watch some time trial runs of the top guys and see where they’re making up time.

Mind meld!! LOL 😂👍 I have that in the description area of each video. Currently, I am using an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I use tilt B controls, sensitivity 1 and all of my assists off. Older videos have me using different cell phones. I’ve only ever played on cell phones for this game.

Probably that's hos some of the top tier players are doing it. There's no way you can do those laptimes without cutting somewhere.

I checked out several of the top guys and they were clean. Some of them are just shockingly amazing. I’m not saying no one else did this. The handful of people I personally know didn’t use this trick. They are just as amazing every other week too. 😎

I think it’s so hard to pull off that off, yeah it’s kind of unfair and probably should be illegal but the odds hitting it right are soooo slim. It’s been a while but there was a time you could ride the walls on some circuit TTs like the video you showed with no penalty.

Yes, they definitely defeated wall riding in weekly time trials. You can actually still do wall riding in regular time trials, they didn’t change it there. In weekly time trials they made the walls a little bit too sensitive, but that’s just the way it is. I heard an interview with Lewis Hamilton where he talked about nicking the walls sometimes and that it was just part of racing. But if they leave that in the game, then people can have a big advantage when they know that trick. It’s also a difficult trick to pull off. I remember pulling it off 3x in 1 lap at Hong Kong. 3 wall rides that is. So many people were doing it that it was almost the only way to get a good time back then.

This cut is like salt in the wound! In online races they often cut things off, it’s annoying. I tried to use this shortcut in endurance racing, but when I was just testing it, I missed it 3 times in a row, and when I needed it in a race, I couldn’t do it even once. Group B racer 😂😂

Yes, I really hate this in online multiplayer. I actually won’t race this track once I get around 800 points just for that reason. If I know everyone’s going to cut, then I don’t mind cutting. But there’s always several people who don’t know about it. So I generally just avoid this track along with Spa when it comes to online multiplayer. However, the other tracks in online multiplayer are great. It’s possible to cut the last corner at Le Mans, but it’s often met with disaster, and it’s faster just to take a clean.

It’s just like any sport, there are those who are better because they spent a lot more time on it. Its just like the best racing pros 2+ seconds faster a lap then other pros. That means they be vastly faster than any average driver. I know people who are better then me but did it do this cut. They are impeccable and dedicated players. There are times I can match and sometimes beat them on a few corners, but not all corners.

I had a b time, tried so hard to pull off the trick and once I succeed I didn't get faster than five seconds so it didn't worth the penalty for me . If you have the skill to take the advantage of this trick you would deserve it

It really does drive me crazy in online multiplayer. I actually avoid this track there for that very reason. If I knew everyone was going to cut, then I would also cut. But I hate to take the cut when other people don’t take the cut. So… I just don’t race this track in online multiplayer very often. At least not when I get to about 800 points and above. Same with Spa. However, all other tracks and online multiplayer are fine. What REALLY bothers me is when people hack the game to insert whatever car they want. For instance, yesterday if I faced the guy using a Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo!! I reported him to the developers.

So you are calling me a bad driver. I say I am not. I'm just making the best of what my poor gaming equipment (Moto G23) allows me to do. In fact it's the really skilled drivers who cut at certain tracks. To keep up with them I have to cut too. You get a penalty for cutting in the OMP too. But there's a way to turn that penalty into an advantage. I don't know why the developers allowed such a thing, but as long as I don't get banned for it I will keep doing it. If you don't agree I would advise you to avoid these particular cuttable tracks until the developers find a solution to penalize it even more until it doesn't get anyone an advantage to cut.

Hey me7 I need a very big help 😢 actually I had bought alot of upgrades on my nissan gtr r35 nismo and all my gold was wasted in that but I thought I would recover it back from cloud save and forgot to do so. Is there still any way or any file which I can change to get it back!? Please reply back 😢

I don’t know of any way you can fix that. Cloud restore is the only tool we have. I would never start messing with files. You risk damaging your game in unintended ways and also it would be considered hacking. At that point I doubt you would get any help from support, since altering game files at all, is considered a violation of the terms of service. The only option I can think of is asking support to revert your game back to a specific date. HOWEVER, then you also lose everything you’ve done since that date. It might be better just to consider it a lesson learned and move forward. I don’t know if it’s possible for them to revert your game to a prior date, but if you want to ask you have to file a ticket.
