We have set up trail work 3 times and they have all been cancelled due to rain. I was really happy to finally get it done. There was less people that showed up than I was hoping for. I am so grateful for everyone who came out to help especially Rick who brought his two kids Anthony and Avery who are only 10 and 8 years old. Despite how hard the work was and how hot it was the kids didnt complain once. They had a smile on their face the whole time and that really inspired me.
I actually enjoyed doing it. Normally when doing trail work out here it is always pretty sketchy worrying about getting a big fat ticket. It was so nice to just be able to work and not looking over your shoulder. Both Antonio and Ericka from Laguna Canyon Foundation were so nice and helpful. I learned a lot working with them and I hope to do this every year, if we get in more rain I hope to do it again this year.
I was really bummed the last 2 events were cancelled due to rain because the trails would have been so much easier to work on. It was difficult on this day because the dirt was so dry and hard but I was really stoked we got rid of all those break bumps. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped. Huge thanks to Yoshimura and Crankbrothers for donating the merch. I hope to this again and hope to have more volunteers next time.

Thank you I had a great time, I wished our previous dig day wasn't postponed due to rain it would have been so much easier when the dirt isn't so dry and hard. But I had fun it was really cool to see so many people come out and help but I hope to have more next time 👊

Great to see the trail work especially after a wet winter. I have been working on multiple trails to make them nice before summer. Thought about you guys when I was getting my butt kicked over at simi.

It's amazing how a small amount of work can impact the trail! I'm glad I was able to join, and I'll definitely be there for the next one. Thanks again for the jersey to go with my new EMTB! 👊

Was there really a guy riding with a mask on? Good job Tommy. Pay it forward brother
@TommyHuynh

Looks like my previous comment was censored ....yes there are people in California that wear mask riding. It's even worse in LA people drive by themselves with mask on, even worse some actually wear mask in their homes 🤣

Is the new fork making the squeaky noise? Also, your bike is sick.
@TommyHuynh
@TommyHuynh 5 месяцев назад
Yes there's a squeeking noise with the fork I hope it's only because it's brand new
@oswaldoaguilar9933

@TommyHuynh belive it or not, the best feel fork I have ever riddin is an sr suntour, but it was loud and it made the same noise. Now I'm rocking Fox 36, but it's not as good as my sr suntour. What peer pressure do 🤣🤣

How much travel is that Onyx fork ?
@TommyHuynh
@TommyHuynh 5 месяцев назад
It can be set up from 160 to 180 I have mine at 180

@@TommyHuynh How would you rate it against a Fox 38?
@TommyHuynh
@TommyHuynh 5 месяцев назад
@leomartinez1213 I think it's just as stiff but DVO has better mid stroke support, the biggest difference is DVO won't need maintenance every 3 to 6 months and when you need it you can do it yourself
