Built a beautiful gleaming new store prbly 50K SF. 1 of those men owned a Ford dealership, another who'd been an exec at Hy Vee(regional chain here), 3rd guy I forget. So they opened up; theft was a prblm right off. Big issue tho? Heard from many"they too high!!" Many went BACK to HV for that .09$ whatever. Sure as hell, HV waited em out. Store closed, fellow with Ford dealership lost his ass, went bankrupt on it AND groc store. Consumers there I guess never figured it costs $ to make $. HV prices came way back up, still is so today. Again, these were capable Black entrepeneurs that their following WALKED AWAY FROM within 6 mo Make your own decisions as to ethnicity folks. Koombayah and all that. It happened here(Des Moines); end of story...
