@@BeautifuLakesStreamsBiologists Mackie said it best, IMO..."The best log home is the one you build yourself...", so that's what I'm trying to do.🙂 I've learned along the way that it's almost impossible to do everything in my case, so have to be realistic so I get something before I'm 6 feet under...🙄
Put a dry hydrant in the pond for fire suppression and to reduce fire insurance. Then build a clear water trophy fishing lake this property deserves. It's nice to be so close to Bridger Bowl for the skiing!
Looks like something a Californian would buy, as it has a BIG house and is near Bozeman (which we call “BozeAngeles” here in Montana). If you’re looking for a Montana experience, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a California-flavored Montana experience, this is it.
I really don't necessarly dislike people because of a geographical area they come from, but I really hate the fact that they are wealthier than I'll ever be. Some of the nicest people come from California.
Ya right . Not any old cars up on blocks, and tarps covering someones garbage. People living in single wides from the 70s. Is that the Montana your talking about?
wonderful! Yes, put fireproof concrete colored shingles & fire sprinklers on the roof and fireproof siding on the house especiallu under the eves... its wind blown cinders that burn homes... keep 50 yard firebreak around structures... Awesome location... should be able to enjoy it four months a year :)> unless you are snow bunnies of course ...
Saw this online when it was first listed. Has some interesting features. Not enough acreage for me. It's over priced as it's been on the market too long in this real estate inventory short market that is still here.
