The price tag is a bit high for the casual homegrower but the hardcore growers will like the simplicity and controller integration. A dehumidifier and window A/C unit will be more effective for cheaper. Plus a space heater if you're in a cold environment. Napkin math @ 8000 BTU = 270 CFM so it will be enough for a 6x6x7 or the more common size of 5x5x8. A 10x10 would definitely be pushing the limits of the machine.
@MrBirrynorikey I really hope a "hardcore" grower doesn't spend $700 on a 8k btu unit. That wouldn't cool the heat output from their lights, aside from the heat the AC unit is generating to go along with it. Portable AC units run at about 60% efficiency and that's before adding any grow equipment to the room.
Vivosun lights going strong 💪 as well... over 2 years old and going good with no burned out diodes... I use the richya smart ventilation, Ipower smart ventilation and vivosun.... Kocheal led lights are great too... Samsung 301 diodes with adjustment dial
I have no doubt this one will benefit a lot of people. For a larger load, I have been loving my Midea U-shaped window unit. For those who don’t have the ability to get a split unit, the U-shaped window units are the second best. One day I’ll go full distance and get a complete mini split. Great video Highigan!
I originally looked at those for out room but don't work with the kinda window we have, happy with the mini split we put in last year tho, it has been working extremely well.
699 plus 65 in shipping prices out a lot of growers. since they labeled it the Terraform 7 maybe a little brother Terraform 3 sub $200 is on the way. This is overkill for a smaller tent. Something perfect for a 4x4-5x5 is needed.
I have everything AC infinity this thing is a pretty penny but I want it for my tent. Maybe when I move and add a bigger tent in my house. This thing will be perfect for anyone needing those perfect conditions.
Is that a limited time price or will it be same price after it comes out in august? I 'am using a ecoflow wave 2 for my bedroom and enjoy the low energy consumption of around 250 watts but its a 6000 btu ac unit. I would like to know if the terraform 7 uses less energy in a 3x3 space than in a 10x10 space.
I’ve tried mobile AC before and the exhaust heat coming from the ductwork is always way too hot. Heat just came right through ductwork. Can you let that run for a while and take an IR temperature reading on the exhaust ducting please?
Sure! You can also insulate the ducting for better performance, in fact for the cooling side it is recommended for the cooling duct put to avoid condensation buildup in the ambient is humid.
@@vinniecartermusicno but they usually have a thermostat and if you set it up and made sure the thermostat was accurate then you set it on say 75 and leave it be. Why would you need a smart controller. lol… I get it for alerts, if it stops working but with the ac infinity monitor if you set temperature alerts then you would know it stopped working from that.
I would like to see them make a water chiller that can support multiple RDWC…that way we only need to buy one water chiller to run multiple RDWC in one tent. Not asking for much a unit that can handle up to 4 RDWC…or just four different plants
Love this Unit but @ $699 and it can only cool one tent hmm . I’ll stick with my $200 portable in my lung room for now . Maybe in the future . Keep up the innovation ACI 👍🏽
Man… AC infinity just continues to innovate. All of their products are top notch. I wish I could afford this thing! My daytime temps will sometimes reach the mid to high 80s. Could someone explain to me why you would want Positive pressure vs Negative and Neutral pressures? Thanks for the help!
Idk but the plants love when the tents are sucked in. I think that's negative pressure 🤷. Pulling from the bottom and blowing out the top. Plus I'll fan small 4 inch fans on my lights to keep temps down. They work way better than those cheesy computer fans
@@dmo848 interesting. Maybe I need to do some research. I’m on my third grow and have a 6” fan that will come on full speed after 80 degrees F but I’m pretty sure mine blows up lol. Is that positive pressure then?
Love it guys! It maybe alitte expensive but it's size factor and being able to control VPD, humidity & temps is a winner! If it lands in Australia i will be very tempted as it gets abit hot and humid in Australia, constant 80% RH & 30-40c. Our Winter is perfect for us. Love from Down Under ❤
@user-ub1yn2bc2m If you're in Florida, you definitely don't want this. You want separate units for AC and dehumidifier. The unit won't lower that 100 degrees and 80% at the same time.
I wish i had one right now. Last week i was battling high humidity, outside world RH was over 90%. This week we have a heatwave, it's 96° F in my tent right now 😢
So will this regulate temperature and humidity at the same time and keep vpd from spiking? Or can you only pick between either the heating or cooling option ? Also say i want tent early flower 82f/70rh will i be able bring things down to 73f/50rh late flower without any spikes?
@frankmike3830 one mode at a time. So, the unit is redundant. Especially if you live in a hot/humid area like Texas or Florida. You won't be able to cool and lower your humidity at the same time, so you'll still have to get 1 or the other. So, about $70-100 after getting this. Plus, you want to switch out accordian tubes anywhere condensation builds up to avoid mold, so there's that extra cost too.
Bro If this thing cools good, there will be some really impressive co2 grows in the near future. Would beat the hell out of a window unit and lung room for neg pressure grows too.
If only all of us could afford this. Nice to those that can. I will be using cool packs on top the tent if need be, as cool air drops down, my be ghetto but it works. I used for my guinea pigs in the summer as 80 f is too hot for them, losing power in a 3rd floor apartment sucks. Been fighting this heat wave and ac is on 70 f to stay about 78f. Stay cool anyway you can!
Pull cool air from bottom suck hot air out the top. U get a nice flow going, add in a small fan on ground level and use the exhaust fan to pull it all out. That's how I Rock
BEAUTIFUL unit, and the whole idea of this thing is absolutely game-changing. The power draw and sticker price though, OUCH ---- for now. I bet, just like LED light tech, it'll get cheaper as time goes on. VERY VERY cool though.
Great info, but it's not a good idea to use ac or dehumidifier water in your grow, it's been proven to have high levels of metal , aluminum and oil content in the water.
I love this lol. People can complain about price but hey you work with your budget so don’t hate on those that have the budget. This is amazing for those who want optimal control over your tent. I have a portable unit that’s WiFi compatible which is cool and all but in all honesty to have a unit that has the whole sha bang I gotta say that’s freaking awesome. Got me sold lol
We haven't hooked it to a tent yet but I think this could keep all the base sizes dialed easily easp for those who struggle with temps and humidity on their grow tent. Michigan gets wild so we see massive temp and humidity swings half the year when it's not snowing.
Does the exhaust tubing radiate heat? I have a stand alone ac floor unit on wheels and the tubing gets so hot I had to wrap it with insulation. Thank you in advance. 💪@@Highigan
@@jasonpavlak2055 well it's a 3-in-1 with good settings on top of that I have bout multiple separate units just to mimic this one humidifier dehumidifier heater and it it also has a fan mode and you only need to run one unit no brainer to me

Looks nice but I already know one upgrade they're going to have to do is enlarge that control panel screen. And those Wheels look nice now but they're too small and we all know that how hard one unit is to control just the cold but all those functions too... other than that it looks awesome

Curious, does it produce a lot of heat outside of the tent by any chance? Don't have AC in my house, so I'm afraid this will heat things up quite a bit since my tent isn't close to any window to throw hot air outside 🙏🏽
Awesome video! It is definitely dope, but surprised it doesn’t have a pump for the drain for the dehumidifier, I don’t really use or need to use my humidifier enough to drain directly into it.

AC Infinity Inc. So it will heat, cool, and dehumidifie by putting 3 hoses to the tent and ran through the controller So if it gets too cold in the tent the heater will kick on and if it gets too much humidity the humidifier kick on if it gets too hot in the tent then the AC will kick on is that how this works or is it only going to be able to operate one function at a time

Can it cool and dehumidify simultaneously? If not, how would you set up the Controller 69 to both cool AND dehumidify your tent using this "all in one" unit? (or do you still need a second dehumidifier or cooler to run alongside?)
