I took biotin for a while and started to think my hair was really improving. So I wanted to talk to a pharmacist to make sure that it was worth the time and money and to know it was really doing what I thought it was. She said it may make your hair thicker but it will not help to make it longer. This is professional advice I was given. Just thought I would share!
The BEST hair masks: 1.mix an avocado, two table spoons of olive oil and an egg to a mix and apply on the whole hair. Leave on hair for 15-20 mins then rinse, schampoo and conditioner 2. Heat coconut oil (extra virgin) over hot water untill its warm and melted, apply to the whole hair and massage into scalp. Leave on for 15-20 minutes and rinse with schampoo and conditioner To one if these masks once every week for two months and you will see great results. Tips: dont use any heat tools on your hair AT ALL if you want healty and strong hair
Your speech skills are really beautiful, I have short hair so I might not use most of these but I just wanted to tell you your voice is really enjoyable to listen to. Sounds odd the way I phrased it but not many people have this
Fantastic condition. I have been struggling with insane shedding, breakage and thinning. I decided to purchase this *Argan rain product* and I love it. With in the first week i noticed less shedding. Its been two months now and my hair has much less breakage and some new growth. I use the every single time I wash my hair. Sometimes I skip the shampoo and just use this as a quick rinse. So far this has been great for me. Will continue to use.
I almost never use heat in my hair. I stopped using that for about 2 years ago, and the hair looks MUCH better. Even though you have buy and use heat protecter it is not always a best way. A heat protecter doesn't always protect the hair. It's better to skip heat stuff, such as flat iron etc. and let it be natural :)
Baby shampoo for girls who have to wash their hair everyday is awesome. I work out every single day (even sundays), and washing my hair with baby shampoo has kept my hair healthy for it isn't as harsh as regular shampoo. Plus, most baby shampoo formulas don't contain sulphates :) I love your videos so much :D
Ok I have seen soooo many hair growth videos and this one is by far the best. I feel like it has so many different ways for different hair types, love how u added diys too! Great video☺️
Jackie you're such an inspiration! You're so beautiful and talented and are such a role model for young women. Unrelated, did anyone notice that the first song was from the ending credits of Tangled? I thought that was fitting with the whole long hair thing XD
purrwarrior Jackie wyres tips is really beautyful & talented.I love this video, especially it,s Natural Tips for Healthy Hair. But Fast Shampoos with amino therapy i found more helpfull.
If there is a product saying it repairs split ends it lying. It's almost like you get a piece of paper and you rip it and you tape it back together. Its repaired but never the same.
Please, make more videos like this. I think your hair is amazing. I am currently trying to get my hair long again and would love some advice to do so. The hair masks (DIY) was a plus in this video for me.
I just have to say I've been looking for hair videos for a longggg time and found nothing. I was just about to give up but then I saw this video... I LOVED IT!! It had ideas, and diys, and awesome tips! Definitly subscribing! Thanks for this video!
Jackie can you please do a video on how to get clear skin. Ur skin is flawless and perfect! Any tips and advice . Maybe some home remedies for clear skin . That would be very helpful to a lot of people
Not to sound creepy, but you are so pretty and your hair is super gorgeous. I loved the hairstyles you showed that you did throughout the week. When I get long enough hair, I will be trying these.
I love your videos because your content is amazing lol, but I just wanna shout out how well made they are! You really do a great job and put in the effort👍👏
I loved that it's so different from all your other video's. This was fun :) I use coconut oil for my hair like once a month and it really seems so help. I am obsessed with coconut oil and use it for everything. I've lost almost 50 lbs rn and I put coconut oil on my stomach and legs every night so my skin stays hydrated and it's easier for my body to get back to that flat stomach. And it also seems to help with stretchmarks. So I'm a big fan of coconut oil. maybe I'll try out some of the other ones too :)
Vitamin D and E worked wonders for my hair and nails! I also recommend argon oil for the hair too it weirdly keeps mine nice and hydrated! Love your videos Jackie, you always look fab=)
You have really amazing and fun videos! Have you ever thought about making a series on health for like skincare or healthy recipes? That would be so cool!
Montanna Styles It doesn't make your hair grow faster but it prevents breakage by removing the dry, brittle parts. So, while your hair is growing at the same rate, it seems to grow quicker because your hair isn't breaking off and staying the same length
Your hair only grows about the same rate as your nails. Which is comprised of the same proteins. Keeping your hair moisturized will make it appear longer.
***** there is no 'magic' potion that makes your hair grow faster. Anyway hair only grows at the follicles and not at the ends. Keeping your hair moisturized will stretch it,giving it optimum length. But this has to be done daily. Ask any one with naturally curly or frizzy hair.
As long as we are talking about health - there is no need for people who eat in a varied way to take any multivitamins. I know that even drugstores promote them but you are better off buying good ingredients and making conscious food choices (placebo may also be at work). That being said, for my part I've come a long way by not using anything special except olive oil and preventing entanglement by putting the hair up and brushing from the ends and working my way up. I also find it way better to wash it only once a week, leaning over the bathtub so that the brush only needs to be pulled straight through the hair and not via the scalp. And getting a haircut to get rid of the dry ends is the best thing you can do for your hair.
A really cheap ( around $4.00 where I live) deep conditioner is the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle! This works wonders for my hair and is really quick and inexpensive!
I love your makeup in this video! Tutorial please if u can! And I approve this hair tutorial! Drinking a lot of water and eating good actually does help! I get lots of comments on my hair by people saying how fast it grows!
I feel so sad when i see people with long gorgeous hair ,my hair is only about an inch and a half long ,but it looks so short because its an afro so when i see all these things and when i try to do the diys and follow to tips its hard to see a difference, does anyone have any ideas or remedies or something for me to try and grow my hair?
Hun you're black get off this video and search videos for natural hair not straight hair , Afro textured hair and texture-less hair are very different and require different hair care regimens, and African American hair grows much slower so just try to maintain healthy hair mad you should be good :)
+Alisha Guiden That's what I did. At first I looked through straight hair videos and then I said that w have different hair types so why not go search for videos that have my hair type.
I loved this! I saw your long hair care video first and was thinking about commenting on your H20esque locket. This video just confirmed what I was thinking! :) I became hooked on H20 in college, so live the dream at any age girls! Fav. mermaid was originally Cleo, but some days it's Bella or Rikki. All awesome characters!
Found the video! Apparently people break out while taking biotin because you're meant to drink lots of water when taking it. And I'm talking a lot of water! Thanks for the other tips
Just FYI, "Miracle Whip" and mayonnaise are not the same thing, they may look the same but Mayo is mainly egg, soybean, oil, vinegar and water and the other is mainly an oil based dressing.
Thanks for the great tips!! PS I don't recommend using a metal spoon to scoop honey as the metal will destroy the active enzymes and nutrients in the honey! Use wooden spoon instead
I take Biotin everyday (usually 2 5000mcg capsules) and I've HEARD that without drinking enough water it won't work as well as it can? I know that my hair seems that it got longer faster, but I haven't noticed significant growth in awhile
Kiana Staples If you've been taking the same type of tablet for a very long time, there is a possibility that your body has become used to it so it won't have the same effect. I know it's happened to my mom with her migraine tablets since she had to take them for a really long time and she had to change it. It's the same with all types of medicine/vitamin tablets. Also, it happens if you do the exact same type of exercise everyday (e.g. running for an hour everyday), your body gets used to things after a while and it builds up immunity from it.
Aansa Ishtiaq Yes, that's what I figure happened too, though it's supposed to improve hair HEALTH either way, and it doesn't hurt me, so I still take it.
Haha! I feel you because that's about where mine is. Here's a websites giving approximate growing times between each length. Looks like we have about 12-14 months to go before we reach waist length. ;/ www.hairfinder.com/info/hair-lengths2.htm
Love the tips you gave! I might try out some of these masks. Coconut oil is one of the oils I swear by for anything health/beauty related, but mainly my hair!
mlybeauty Yes! Hehe just leave it in for 15 mins, I read someones experience with super blonde hair that when they left it for a long time their hair went more strawberry blonde. I have dark hair so I wouldn't know though lol!
I wash my hair every two days (shampoo and condition) step out and throw it in a towel for 10 minutes, brush out, and flip my hair. That's all I ever do along with brushing every 4 hours to keep my hair long, shiny, and sleek.
I love chips and cookies but I stay healthy so I only eat 1-2 a week if I have any. And a good drink to make is a FRUIT LEMONADE it is my favorite, just squeeze lemon in water then add sugar and any FRUIT. I also find curling your hair or put braids in make your hair healthier than just letting it be.
For another hair mask, try 2 eggs(Dry Hair:Use Yolk)(Oily hair:no egg yolk), with olive oil. It gives nutrients to hair and prevents hair damage. Like if it works!
I've used coconut oil in my hair in the past and after I washed it out, my hair was a grease slick. Do you have any tips or specific hairstyles you do after you use coconut oil to combat the oily look?
You are stunningly gorgeous... I mean, my god. To say you won the genetic lottery is the understatement of the millennium. What a classic beauty. Plus, you're pretty on the inside. Bless you.
