If you eat and throw a mango seed anywhere in India it just pops up as a plant. That's how easy it's to grow in India. No hassles. It's a very easy tree to grow. But with right environment.
Are you dumb or what?? People do this thing is to plant it safely indoor. Of course he can plant this tree outside their home too. But they have problem with the seasons. And some squirrel and stuff maybe. Why so many overproud indians on internet?? Like..your nation is not that fertile. If want to talk about fertile and diverse land, look at indonesia. Volcanoes everywhere and truly diverse. More diverse than india.
India India India why always India?Scammers also pops up in India... Your street food is tasty with sparkle of arm pit and bare foot Why India so perfect i don't know
@goodgreatfreeforever6188 it sprouted within a few weeks. We're in South Orange County, CA. I think it was summer when she planted it in a little pot outside. It's been about a year and a half it's maybe 18" tall now. I planted it in our native clay soil recently and it hasn't grown much since, but I'm thinking it'll probably gain some height over the summer
a friend of mine and i did this with some mangoes we got off an old mango tree in Hallandale ,FL...we then went all around Marco Island,FL and Naples, FL and planted them in dozens of places. This was back in 2006. There are tons of mango trees all over collier county.
I did this 7 years ago roughly and now my tree is about 8 ft tall and has given me mangos for two almost three years. The only problem with mine is that the original mango i ate was a regular sized delicious one and the ones it gives me are little grape sized ones though they're still very sweet and delicious so I'm not disappointed too much hehe
I never took the pit off the shell before to grow a Mango tree. I just opened a hole on the soil, put the whole seed in it, and covered with soil. There, you have a mango seed that will grow into an amazing tree now. I grew up in El Salvador and that is how it is done. No fancy preparation at all. It might just take a little longer for the twig to appear, but it surely will grow. The tropical weather is such a generous place to plant. Just throw a fruit seed on the soil, and it would not disappoint😊
the variety of mango tree from seed is determined by pollination and access to other local mango trees. you can graft mango trees and know the variety, but from seed, you gotta wait until a pollinator brings love from other trees.
I did a different method,I just put it in soil(with curved part in the soil and the two parts that point up out of the soil)and it’s on the same stage as yours, just the roots aren’t the same size.brings all plants are different to be proven
I am currently growing a nectarine tree! I also have 2 orange trees that are about three years old, blueberry seedlings, and a whole bunch of other stuff just from harvesting the seeds out of food I buy. You can do that trick with anything bulb-like.(onions, garlic, green onions, celery)
If the plants from which you are getting the seeds are GMO, it's very likely that the tree will not produce any fruit. That's how GMO "protects their investment". I call it population control. Furthermore, you might even get into legal hot water for doing so if it's GMO because then it's patented and protected. Ain't that a kick in the teeth? A farmer once was sued by the GMO company, (and lost), because his corn crop was fertilized by the neighbors GMO corn which meant his crop had GMO genetic markers...
There are many different types of mangoes. The best or the ones that are really really smooth and not stringy or pissy at all. They are amazing. Sam’s Club has them. They’re usually yellow in a box so like 10. They’re not the big roundish ones the best ones are more flat.
If the mango is found at Sams Club, then you never had a good mango.. For the most part, from when it’s the right time to pick them, to the journey overseas, onto the shelf, it would be spoiled..
In another thread a guy that lives in Canada said he grows them outside but brings them in in the winter and the main thing is to just make sure they get enough light in the winter
Nobody grows Mango from seeds. A seed takes 8 years to become a full grown tree and start fruiting. And still that tree needs Grafting to get the desired mango breed. So if someone wants to plant a mango tree then buy a grafted plant and it will give fruits the next year.
Looks just like a cute little baby carnivorous plant like the one that grew in the musical comedy “Little Shop of Horrors” It started out just as “cute”
I got 3 trees going back generations...1 of them is that fiberless kind it has nothing but sweet fruit no little hairs get stuck between the teefers lol
Here in Australia I have mango plants from seed like Kensington Pride, Atlaufo, keitt, and Brooks. I germinate it but they can take the patience for them to grow. I recently pot a germinated seed and hopefully it should sprout soon.
As i saw this i remembered an avocado seed i up in the back of the cupboard some time ago. I completely forgot! So make sure that your "back of the cupboard" is in plan view! 😉
My mango is taller then yours and has a shorter root but started molding in the water after 3 weeks or so 🤷🏼♀️So I planted it in soil and it did much better
I did this recently before I saw your video!!! Hello! I put mine in a mason jar and the tree is growing beautifully, but I like your idea WAY better with the tall glass vase! Thanks for sharing!
You can make something similar for free with a clear plastic 2 liter soda bottle. Just take a pair of scissors and cut around it a couple inches from the top.
Great! I planted an old wrinkly piece of ginger in a pot and within weeks the wrinkles were gone and it is now a giant gingerroot. I never have to buy ginger again.
I grew and planted a mango seed, only told my dad after a year, he was so mad with me, because I planted it in our courtyard, I didn’t know how badly the roots could mess up a house’s foundation! He calmed down and let me keep it. It takes a lot of years till you get fruit though.
I did start it like you but then I planted it right into it's soil. To say on my yellow mango Tree's they held up threw all the cold and snow under the porch. We're going to keep them short. Our small Avocado we started in the dirt did very well tips died but there doing ok it's been a hard winter. In order to see what we can push in Oregon I will say everyone of my pineapple guava shrubs are jumping and I need to get into the ground or go up a container I toped three out of 15 to see what happened they split and growing stinks off I won't be growing them tall but happy to eat them some time for they don't ship the fruit.
wow its so cool 😍 if I would do that mango tree that be very nice it will be more nice and more night so and they would be are the two parts of the same when you would grow a mango throughout the Husk after next you put it in a container then will start to grow roots then you put in the soil then we'll start to sprout and will grow more then it will do the flowering stage then it's gonna turn into a mango have a nice time with your mango and have good plant another mango
