I combined all of the branches together when mine was growing by weaving them together, so now there's just one large trunk, and you're right it does make a lot of fruits we had so many we gave them away also.😊
My grandmas was maybe 50 years old and it towered over the house. It reached for the sky but the footprint was a dense large base you didn’t want to get too close to. The fruit would weight the branches down and they’d bend like they begged to be picked. It was a wicked forest in there. I wish there were any videos or pictures of the beauty. I have a baby from the plants that grew BACK years after it was all cut away.
Hello 100 degrees is nothing. Here we have had over 30 days of 115 or more up to 119 in the phoenix area . My Pometgante tress is dieing and I dont kn ow if it is the heat of under or over water. I have a timet to give sprayed water for 10 mi utes at 7:30pm but I raised it to 17 minutes today. But all but 10 % of the leaves dried up and fell, and all the tny fruit yas dried up and fall if ou touch them. So can you tell me if it is the heat, over or underwatering please?
Thank you for sharing the video. My wonderful pomegranate tree is getting double flowers and no fruiting yet, it’s about 3 years old. My question is, is fruiting still a possibility when the tree is double flowering? Or the tree is just ornamental purpose and not expected to fruit?
All of my flowers fell off- is this a sign of something? Is there a period where I should stop watering them? The water isn’t draining right away, what do you recommend I add to have good drainage?
I try to keep it to one truck so that it’s not a bush. There are a lot of suckers that grow from the base so I always cut those off, then I cut off any branches that grow too low for my liking. Don’t be afraid to cut these, they are like crazy!
I have a small Wonderful variety of pomegranate in ground in the UK. It got through the winter no issues but its not grown that much. Should I dig it out and put it in a container and move to a more sunnier position as it at present gets afternoon sun.
Hi good morning. What type of pomegranate is that? I'm from Bangladesh and I have 3types of Pomegranate plants on my rooftop garden (Bhagwa, Thai & Pakistani)
Hi Hannah, I am a pomegranate farmer from India. I am trying to procure the the wonderful variety. It would be great if you can help me in that. Thanks Karan Sankhyan
Most of growers of this fruit in Ph strongly got disappointed because it is dry inside and difficult to consume. I plqn to visit some growers in nearby Metro Manila to know the secrets of producing delicious promegenate. Can u suggest any planters in Ph.
The “wonderful” variety is labeled zone 7-10. I think Chicago is zone 6. I’d look for a more cold hearty one, or plan to keep it in a pot and give it full sun during summer and inside with a lamp during winter.
I’ve been growing a pomegranate tree here in souls Florida for about five years the thing is taller than me but no fruit or flower any advice on the tree to bloom? We are approaching November but being patient and seeing it most days ❤️
I have had my tree in a pot for YEARS had a few flowers here and there but no fruit. Just recently I started putting a few comfrey leaves ripped up and thrown on the pot, wenhave had decent rainfall and I now have fruit for the first time.i am so excited for it to ripen! After this fruit I will plant in the ground where it sits as it is obviously going to do well in that spot! Comfrey is a great chop and drop fertiliser, and you can also make comfrey tea.
