Growing Cities with Mass Timber - Around Texas with Chancellor John Sharp 

As technological developments make mass timber a more appealing and sustainable option for industrial-scale construction, Texas A&M School of Architecture professor James Michael Tate is collaborating with Dr. Aaron Stottlemyer of Texas A&M Forest Service to teach students about forestry and mass timber, give them hands-on experience with cross-laminated timber (CLT) panels and construction and teach them how to effectively utilize mass timber products as a sustainable alternatives to steel and concrete.
