Hey Elder. Remember me? City girl gone country like u. I would love to come see ur garden whenever I get down that way. I just bought a blueberry jubilee from green acres. Mid season. I need another variety. Where u get those 40 gal pots at? I can’t find em. Maybe I’ll just build some outta wood. I did repot my mandarin into a bigger pot with that azalea soil but it’s not a 40 gal.
Shalom, yes I remember you. Good to hear from you Angela, hope things are well for you. They do not make the 40 gallons anymore. You can use half wine barrels.
@@elderyehudahwatchmanoftheg8425 How r u and ur family doing? Hot up here today! I sure miss the SF ocean breeze on hot days. Im not used to this heat. One of these times on my way down to the city or back up, I’d love to stop by and see your amazing garden. Soak up some of your wisdom! I ended up finding some 40 gal pots online for $27ea and shipping is outrageous so Wine barrel (I need to fine some cheap ones) or build my own is what I’m gonna have to do. I plan on moving to more land in a few years and don’t wanna leave all my trees and berry bushes behind and have to start over that’s why containers are the way to go for me right now. The ultimate plan is a permaculture food forest/farm on acreage. For now I’m getting as much knowledge and perennial plants as I can. Have u studied JADAM? It’s apart of Korean Natural Farming (KNF) I’m getting into that a bit. Teaches u how to make your own pesticides and fertilizers very cheaply as not to rely on companies for them. Check it out if you haven’t. U might be interested. Chris Trump and Nature’s Always Right channels have videos on YT about it. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge! One.
I have 5 containers I started last year only 2 containers produced berries so far so I appreciate the links you posted hopefully they will help me find out why I haven’t been very successful.
