I just love you people...... that's why I never can resist myself from telling u what I know...... so sorry if it bothers u but....... I want to let u know that U can add brick or charcoal pieces at the bottom.... Those aren't as heavy !! Because as u can see these plants do not have any foot to raise itself above the ground so chances of the drainage holes getting blocked is very high and also plastic containers wouldn't allow water to pass through the walls as compared to the terracotta or the concrete planters..... And of course Madhumalti likes good drainage and dry soil between waterings !!

Plastic is there between the roots because It was prepared using the process called AIR LAYERING.......also no need to remove it because as the roots grown the tearing done by nursaries in plastic packet expands and the roots develops as if it is in normal soil condition.....Also avoid disturbing the root ball if it is not Spring or Rainy season

Superb video but please use white sand i think you have used black sand keep ratio of soil 40% COCOPEAT 20% , vermi compost 30%,sand 10% its best ration and hand full of neem Khali ,and some amount of fungicide
