Hi, I love your videos, thanks for sharing them. If you are taking cuttings of Natives, how do you harden them off if they have been inside the nursery with a cover over them and misted daily? Cheers.
Good question: I have different shade houses with different coverings. One has 80% shade, another 50%. I also have areas near or under trees that get quite a lot of sun. I can put plants out to harden off for a week or two before planting. Also, I tend to plant mostly in the Autumn, Winter when it’s cooler and overcast most of the time. I water them in and rely on rain to get them a good start.
Hi there thanks for showing us how to grow natives. Just wondering what type of set up you have for your nursery I am wanting to build something simple.
Sorry to take so long to reply. I will do a short video soon to show my set up. It's all pretty simple and cheap, using recycled materials where I can.
