Episode 91 Before we leave town Jordans pop welcomes me up into the old camp where he grew up. He shows me the river where he swam as a kid and the sacred Bora Grounds and the stories to go with it.
Then Jordo and I hit the road, 6.5 hours north through the bush where our next adventure awaits.
Enjoy guys!

Another cracking episode Nath. Thanks to Pop and Jordo for allowing us to see their country through Wild Reaches. I took a new bloke at work up in the top end around the boundary on site today and explained a bit about bush passionfruit, Pandanus and the Kapok Tree this afternoon and just showed him the section you did on the Kapok and said how coincidental that you covered that this week when I had done the same just an hour or so earlier. Love your work Nath, keep doing what you love up there, we all love it too. Thank you mate.

We thoroughly enjoyed this video Nath and a big thank you to Pop. It is great news that Jordon is carrying on with you adventure. What a beautiful part of the world. Talking of sacred ground we are going to the neighbours today to see his new pond and unaware to him where we will put a crocs egg on our return from our trip, that will introduce him to "Wild Reaches". Cheryl asked if it was a 6 metre croc where you are, is so don't worry its a baby!! 🙄 don't ask....Anyway take care until next week the "Wild Screeches"

Interesting in what Pop had to say, good to see the land is back where it belongs, Thanks Pop for showing Nath your country for him to share 🙏 Yeah I know exactly what you mean Nath, that spiritual feeling connection to the land in places (not all) it's weird, like something is there, letting you know, it touches ya bones, hard to explain in writing properly. Love the beat at the end, well suited to the surrounds. HaHa, Kids are funny. Cheers

Nath - you must be honoured to be considered to witness and collaborate with the Indigenous elders in the Gulf and Cape territories. Keep doing what your doing but getting you videos out there we can educate the younger generation as we have not had a good history and respect and admiration of our Indigenous should always be a priority as you have lead by a great example to all. 👍🤟

Great video as always, watching your videos takes me back to the cape trips with dad when i was a kid, we are planning to sail around the cape in the next year or two and was woundering how people go about getting permission to explore and maybe hunt? It would be awsome to learn the traditional way of hunting

Totally get the indigenous nations not wanting to share their secrets. I think the more we know and understand their culture the more we will discover why they have existed in harmony with country for thousands of years. The real stories should be exposed so the truth is known. I get so frustrated that a lot of people think of Aborigines being a lesser race than us. It's the opposite. Keep up you fabulous work to let us see what we are missing. Thank you.
