Growl needs to be re-release on Arcade Archives or something else on home consoles into a 4-player version instead of 2-player version as it was used in Taito Legends
The only flawed thing about this game is the length of the final boss fight. Other than that, for me, this a almost a perfect arcade brawler with its incredible score, fluid gameplay, tonnes of sprites, glorious sampled speech and the fact that it takes its hilarious premise and plays it totally deadpan. It's hilarious in the best way. 9/10.
Damn, that cave level looks like a pain in the ass to get through. But good job, it’s awesome seeing a playthrough like this with four players at once.
So basically they created a multi-player game featuring a handful of activists who goes ape-shit at poachers wherever they go. Cool What the fuk at the ending though.
TheKalimanMX This is game where the heroes get to shoot bazookas against the bad guys, an elephan OWNED A TANK, and the bad guys have Jason Vorhees clones within their ranks...and you complain about the final boss being an alien centipede?
Growl is finally going to be rereleased from Arcade Archives for PS4 and Nintendo Switch on July 27th, 2023. I hope it's gonna be uncut without any alterations and censorship just like what the hell happened in Taito Legends 2
The trailer already shows that this has the violence from the original game. Hamster does not have a perfect record when it comes to censoring, because both Vendetta and Sunset Riders are not the original games, but I wouldn't imagine that there is anything that would be censored in this particular game.
@@arronmunroeyeah I know already. Chief Scalpel from Sunset Riders on Arcade Archives was altered to Chief Wigwam just like in the SNES version due to censorship. The Arcade Archives version of Pole Position had to use various Namco classic arcade titles on the billboards instead due to licensing issues on product placements just like it was originally shown on the arcade cabinets
@@GenesHand Kaillera might not be the greatest, but it gets the job done as long as everyone has a decent connection. It's worth noting that you can use save states online with MAME++ in case the game desynced. Also, there is one other option, which is Parsec. You can play pretty much anything online with it, but it requires a very good internet connection to be able to host with it, especially if you're trying 4p.
@@animemangafan1987 that my opinion i own an artisanal arcade with pandora box and in playing this game but i played for first time more than 20 years ago in sega genesis
