When Ichigo's reiatsu vanished as he jumped - it was Sonido (Hollow's move) When Ichigo was sensing everyone's reiatsu vanishing - it was portrayed the same way as 'Pesquisa' (Hollow's sensing move) Hollow side leaking through when he's pissed off.

Gotta remember... Yhwach had to "regain" his pulse over the course of 900 years.. he pretty much died in this fight

Byakuya’s last moments here are sad but what gets me is the fact that he held on both figuratively and literally to his life and his weapon until he could do something to help his people. Once Ichigo arrived to help and he learned Rukia and Renji were alive, he finally let go of his sword.

The question you asked as to why Ichigo's mom didn't use her Quincy powers to kill Grand Fisher is a major plot point that will be discussed eventually so have patience. :D Also, Yhwach refers to all Quincys as his children as he's literally the Quincy King; his son born in the dark simply refers to Ichigo's half-Quincy, half-Shinigami heritage. Yhwach ain't his real daddy.

Seeing Byakuya still speaks like a noble blaming himself for what's happening and then crying to beg Ichigo broke me that "Please save soul society" line of him really got me, he didn't think of himself but think about the people and the ones that was really close to him 😭

I love the fact that Ichigo went to Byakuya, the connection(respect) between them. I personally think Ichigo seeing Byakuya like that, speaking the way he did, the words he spoke, the shaking in his voice sent Ichigo over the edge and his reiatsu on fire the way it was. He needed to see what broke Byakuya's values and principles like that. Man seeing Byakuya like that ... Thanks for the reaction man.

In the Aizen arc, he said to ichigo “you are a soul reaper, a human and a…” then Isshin comes and interrupts before he could tell him he’s a Quincy.

Seriously as an anime only watcher, watching this episode gave me goosebumps

I am kinda sad they didn't do the birth of The Twins. One brother could copy looks, and the other could copy powers. The brother that could copy powers, copied his brothers power to change his looks and thus a "clone" was made of Yhwach to match the power level.

I told you it was going to get better! Did I lie? DID. I. LIE? XD You might want to check out episode 296. Fortunately almost all questions are answered in detail not too far from this point on. The foreshadowing from the beginning of the series is mindblowing. Each arc has had a nakama as an important secondary with development; Agent (Ichigo), Soul Society (Rukia), Arrancar (Orihime), Fullbring (Sado), TYBW (Ishida). Ishida's arc might be the most important because of how it relates to Ichigo and the world of Bleach and it seems that Kubo is adding a lot of Ishida showtime so I'm excited for what's to come!

Damn Ichigo went fucking nuts! His anger reminded me of the title of an Interpol's song- "All The Rage Back Home".

(Anime only) Isshin is still Ichigo's dad, otherwise Ichigo wouldn't have soul reaper powers. Rather Yhwach called him his son in the same way all Quincy are symbolically his sons and daughters. Yhwach seems to speak mostly in metaphor and hyperbole and rarely in the literal sense. I feel like I know how Isshin and Masaki's relationship went down and how she was killed so easily but I'll keep that prediction to myself for now. P.S. Remember when Aizen was confused about Ichigo's power in their last fight? I'd bet it's because he was expecting Ichigo to show up with Quincy powers instead.

Can we just reflect for a moment on how Yhwach could cut Yamamoto in half with his sword in a single strike, but Ichigo can tank Yhwach's sword to the neck without even a scratch. At this point, between his blut and his herro, you basically need a nuke before he even starts to feel it. Also, remember when Ichigo fought Kenpachi in the first arc--he only lived in that fight after being stabbed in the chest because Zangetsu solidified Ichigo's blood at the wound, stopping the bleeding. Similarly, think about how Uryu and Ichigo both got their powers back after overloading themselves (Uryuu vs Mayuri and Ichigo vs Aizen). Both had to be pushed to their physical limit, then get stabbed in the chest with an energy arrow/sword, right next to their heart. The foreshadowing for this reveal goes ALL THE WAY back to the start of the series. And a cool down? In this arc?

For someone as proud as Byakuya to say the words "I am deeply ashamed" cuts me deep 😢

There's a reason Unohana became a healer, and I'm excited for you to find out why. And no it's very likely not the reason you are thinking Yama became soft after the Quincy War 2000 years ago. That's why Yhwach removed him from the "Special War Threats", he also lost all respect of him and the Gotei 13 as well since they're no longer the brutal and vicious killers they used to be Yhwach's strategy when the Wandenreich invaded Soul Society was actually rather effective. He sent in his main fighting forces first to deal with the elite members of the Gotei 13, and at least weaken them, so that the numerous foot soldiers can come in and sweep things up since the enemy's main forces would be too weak to fight back There IS a reason why Haschwalth is always by Yhwach's side. Ichigo was VASTLY underpowered to face either of them. Even if Ichigo wasn't already beaten by Yhwach, he would not have been able to take on Haschwalth

Essentially Juha is the progenitor of all quincies hence all quincies are his ''children'' I loved this episode but the last episode is still my favourite so far. Btw ichigo's past has been very hinted from the past arcs. be patient and you will see soon in the upcoming parts one of the earliest hints is from the uryu and ichigo fight with the large gillian

Next ep will be reveals after reveals, probably a chill episode but full of surprises for sure!

I can say I have only cried a handful of scenes in anime, this was one. Another was in One piece of the crew saying goodbye to the going Merry, the other was the final episode of Clannad season one (I balled my eyes out on that one)

Told you this is gonna be a mindblowing episode and a biggest revelation in Bleach History when I read this in manga I was so shocked

Dont know if you noticed, but that Sternritter that burns up when Yamamoto walks past him is the same one that skeleton turned into with the eyepatch on the previous episode.

Anyone see the Emotional face yhwach made when ichicgo said his swords attack name. It was the first time they showed him to be surprised in fact he said he was going to kill him right up till that point and then he said they were taking him back

Yamamoto's death has always been interesting for me, like, It's an extremely clean cut, achieved by extremely dirty methods, i love it.

well no Yuha is not his 'dad' cauz if he was where did ichigo would have take he's shinigami powers since his mother is also supposed to be a quincy, but grandfather maybe ? or grand grand father ?

I never read the manga, but from today's episode my theory is that Ishin was once a captain in Soul Society (I don't think he's a substitute cause Ginjo said he was the first one while Ichigo was the second and Isshin should be older than him), then 200 years ago or maybe just recently they found some Quincies still alive, he was prob sent to kill Ichigo's mom, saw baby Ichigo and promised her that he'll take care of her son but still proceeds to kill her... then he reports it to soul society, he got demoted in exchange of not letting soul society kill baby Ichigo cause he was still a quincy after all, but he hasn't learned anything from the quincies yet so that's prob a leeway for them to let him live... in the end he become a substitute soul reaper, they sent him the combat pass to monitor him, they said it was to control his reiatsu, but that might just be an excuse and they want to monitor his quincy powers instead if there shows sign of awakening... bruh, me writing a fanfic HAHAHHA

Bro, when I first saw that opening to this ep, I thought I clicked on like a Bleach movie vid lol. I had to double and triple check. The entire Byakuya scene is the hardest part so far when he drops his sword and it shatters. I just wish Ichigo was healed up before this fight, don't think the outcome would've been different but still would've been better odds for him lol.

So..... 1. That's why they couldn't steal his bankai, it's partially quincy, doesn't work on quincies. 2. We got a bit of a Romeo and Juliet story japanese style, 2 mortal enemies clans people falling in love, resulting Ichigo. We all knew Ichigo's parents were a shinigami and a human, but quincies are human. I wonder what Ishida will say when he'll find out Ichigo is half quincy!😆 3. Yes Unohana is the only one surviving out of that original 13 squad alongside Yamamoto, she will be affected the most by his death most likely, as she did like him discard her bloody old ways in lieu of healing people. 4. Yuha-baha said the 13 squad died that day 1000 years back because that was the last day they were ruthless, then they become soft like Yamamoto their leader or Unohana... the question now is... how will Unohana react to her oldest pal being killed, will she still remain the calm, lovely healing captain or discard that part of her and revert back to... 5. Loved the tears, finally somebody proper crying when proper crying comes calling!🤗

It's not a massive plot point or anything its just unexpected. They had a shaky start after episode 1 set the bar high but they have been killing it the past 3 weeks.

I read manga like right when it came out. Dont remember anything much luckily And no brainer, Seireiti needs a new Captain Commander- they need to get that done and their logistics sorted out before they face them again

Crying over Byakuya dying is exactly what's wrong in lazy story writing. They immediately take it back, so that the action of the bad guys no longer have consequences, so who cares? How many times have we seen a Soul Reaper beat to a bloody pulp but never die? it's annoying. Either have the guts to actually kill them off, or stop teasing. You can only cry wolf so many times before the audience stops getting emotionally invested.

In the first season of I, her mother was killed by her father Isshin is Ichigo's stepfather. In order not to tell Ichigo, his father committed a thousand crimes and killed his mother, and Ichigo has three bloodlines: Pomian, Miemen, and Shinigami.

The 5 war powers are Aizen, Ichigo, Kenpachi , and two more but talking about them is spoilerish kind of.
