Love you guys and your message tonight. I'm a new Christian who's struggling with my growth due to addiction but I believe that I can be fully restored as I'm already feeling better everyday. I'm a sinner who often feels ashamed and go to sleep in my guilt and shame,wake up in my shame. Please pray for me. Jesus Christ is healing me. I've been reading Bible and praying as much as I can, waiting on God not relying on my own understanding. I will obey and follow God till the end of the earth. I got saved almost two years ago...last week I came under massive demonic attack in the form of depression, condemnation, and isolation. It threw me for a loop--I thought I was done with that kind of thing. But it exposed a massive blindspot that had been weighing me down: my pride and self-reliance. Rather than remembering there is NOTHING I can do to earn my salvation, I began slipping into a works-based mentality to earn His love. God let me be brought low so I could find repentance and grow. "My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, Nor faint when you are reproved by Him; For those whom the Lord loves He disciplines, and He scourges every son whom He receives." (Heb. 12:5-6) This podcast was dead on the money, and perfect timing. Thank you guys for all you do...it matters more than you know.
Wow that is wonderful here you are sacrificing to spend time with your children. I've known a few pastors that have preached to many different places and churches and didn't spend time with their children and their children just got into drugs. People will see your sacrifice and guess what you may get a jeep from someone without wanting it that's how God works. What a blessing I'm listening to this on my lunch break in Georgia in my car. I need growth in every area of my life, because I need God in every area of my life. For me as a 14 year old is really difficult to I wouldn’t say to follow Christ but to make time for God because of school and video games. Thanks for the podcast because it thought me to first think before doing stuff. I pray that God would help me reduce my playing time and help me to love, to suffer for his name’s sake and to focus on him and his ways for I’m nothing but dust and a sinner. I pray that God would humble me more because I’m at times full of pride and think about my own ways instead of his and try to fit into the world, while I’m not of it. And lastly Lord, use me as a vessel because I know that this body will decay, pls forgive me and wash me from anything that has defiled my mind, body spirit and soul, cleanse my body with your son’s blood. I pray this not just for me but for all my brothers and sisters in Christ, Amen 🙏🏽

Biggest I need to grown in is my parenting. I honestly suck as a parent. I work 2 jobs and when Im not working I have a short temper and a short attention span. Right when you said you took your TV's down I texted my wife and I said "Were doing this, were bringing the family back to our family room take away the TV " lol. But I think I use that crutch so much to not be present in my kids lives and its so sad. Thank you so much for what you do and keep on doing it!
Sometimes following God makes everything fuzzing and sorrowful as if I’m not even Real. When things don’t make since I just want to stop following His word and do my own thing. Pray that the Lord would change my heart and enlighten my eyes to see Him even in these times of affliction.

Alex! I am so glad you made this podcast. God is wonderful and He worked through you to turn my heart back to Him. This has been a very unique week for me because it has been war, and it has also been the week I have felt farthest from Christ in a long time. I've been using a topical to try and grow more facial hair. A couple days in and God just lays it on my heart "you shouldn't be doing this, you need to stop." And I'm like what?? I tried all the ways to justify my actions, there's no clear verse or anything against putting rogaine on your face to grow a beard lol but it's the same thing as how you felt about the jeep. It's something I'd like, but it's definitely not anything I need. I have acknowledged in prayer "God, I know this is worthless, the flesh withers like the flowers in the field. But God why should I put this down? Please just help me understand." I have been getting slapped with the word and my flesh wants to despise it and turn away but my spirit knows God is real, and more valuable than anything else ever! I know I can't lean on my own understanding, but I just really needed wisdom in this if I was going to overpower my flesh's desire. This video made me see clearly. This video made me sure of what I want. Glory to God! Thank you Alex for being receptive and obedient because God is using you and you are very much an inspiration to me, just like you said with your kids at the playground, and I can't wait to talk with you someday soon bro! i love how you brought in that it’s not about us individually, but rather us as a whole & His Kingdom because it’s ultimately about our King. i’ve really been noticing how a lot of Christian songs nowadays focuses on us & our own victories through Him or joy in Him (these are true, not saying it’s false); however, i feel like the Lord is really showing me that MY salvation isn’t even about me, it’s about the people i am in contact with & my kids. it brings me back to scripture where it talks about how we are supposed to go & help bring other people to Jesus. (matthew 28) a little rant but thank you for pointing this out & bringing it to light.

so i’ve been talking to God asking for a genuine relationship with Him. I’ve been getting messages from Him about this. This past sunday I tuned into my church online and my pastor was taking about worshiping God from the love you have for Him in your heart. Our relationship with the Most High shouldn’t be about what he can do for us.. Let me bring it all together. so listening to this made me understand that obeying God is an act of worship. dying to the flesh is an act of worship. these this will help us grow in Him and help those around us know Him. Another connection I made in the old testament to serving God wholeheartedly is that there was a rule about the sacrifices not having any defects, blemish (leviticus 3:6)because He didn't want them using an animal that they would've been like,"well this one's defected, it's not useful to me, so I'll just give it to God". God wanted them to give their best animal to show that they were serving wholeheartedly.

Hi Alex thank you for this podcast and the many other they all hit home but this one was literally the Holy Spirit spoke to me through almost every word you spoke was for me. Funny I own a Jeep and I struggle with other areas and I beat myself for these but I understand it’s a growth process and I have to always seek obedience not to stop doing what is wrong but to see honoring Jesus. This unrelated but One thing that i noticed now is that I’m sensitive to hearing people cuss/swear using obscene speech, now I’m a grown man and when i slip some out of my mouth i ask God to forgive me right away so that i can keep correcting myself, but i saw a clip of Chris Rock new comedy special in Netflix he was talking about the will smith slap, and it was kinda of funny but all the swearing literally made my ears uncomfortable 😳
It’s not you it’s satan he’s putting doubts and negative thoughts in your mind to pull you away from God. This is a prime example of what’s happening on a daily basis when people are living for the lord. When that occurs rebuke satan and tell him to get behind me.

What if I continue to Sin? What if I stop having Faith? What if 5 years after being saved I have an affair? What if I aborted my child? What about suicide? When you first had faith in Christ in your heart you were sealed and justified from that day forward, no matter what you do or don’t do our Lord has saved your soul and made you a new creation. Eternal Security ( 100% Going to Heaven) This is isn’t a license to sin, it’s a realization that God gave you the best gift ever by saving your soul from hell. Your old habits of sin go away over time when you walk with the Lord. No one is perfect, that’s why Jesus had to Justify (Impute righteousness) us through his righteousness by the blood. So don’t be discouraged you will grow and your old habits will shed away over time. You will always have struggles but God always remains faithful. Loving people is what the Lord wants us to do, so I would encourage everyone to minister the Gospel and be an example of Gods power through the renewing of your mind on Gods Word. When we listen to people speak and show them love God will shine through us. The “small” things in life like a smile, a hug, a great attitude, a conversation with a stranger, an encouraging word, cooking dinner for someone in need, loving your parents, and having a heart for people as Christians should have. I’m looking forward to that day when we meet the Lord and all the Christians in the clouds at the Rapture. Our time on earth is running out so lets spread the gospel in love. Cause of that belief I walked away from the Lord a few times cause I thought I couldn’t measure up, so what’s the point. So now I got proper doctrine, and now the truth of his love makes me want to do more for God cause he’s done so much for me. It also makes me want to grow in my relationship with Christ way more. Truly the greatest gift given to us was Justification through his blood. So now i can go and do good works cause of the the love God showed me. We’re all called to be ministers of the gospel. If you know who you are.... we have come here on this planet to know who we are, then other peoples opinions do not matter much. In fact you can laugh at the attitude because you can read the actions. Noah was building the ark for a hundred years and telling the people, it is going to rain. People that did not know what rain was at that time. He was definitely mocked, made fun of in all the time that he and his children were building that ark. But Noah had the last laugh. He had a Revelation to build an ark for the saving of him and his family. The animal life, the bird life....all in pairs were spared. So we as Christians have the joy of our Salvation, the peace that passeth understanding in comparison to others who laugh at us.
I really wanna open up about his thing that I realized this and as a believers I hope we can ban together and do something about this in because it’s something that I’ve struggled with and kind still do, but. Idk if any of y’all know BTS. They are probably the biggest boy band from skylit Korea and if any of you know anything about that fan base is that it is very toxic, cool, interesting, and sexual at the same time. Here’s what I mean about sexual. When I was in the world I used to be in these fanfic that used be very sexual like pretty much pornography. Expect it more like a with no video or anything really taps the imagination. Idk if many know about this because I know I would hide my sexual fan fic addiction. Which was not good. And if someone struggled with these your not alone. But thier is a huge sit of them on Instagram and and RU-vid with some and everything
I struggled with this for 4 years and still struggle somtimes , but I think if we point this out as Christians we should do something like report these videos and put as much of an end as possible cuz it ruined me like I know it ruined so many in Jesus name I pray that we should expose this and I pray it does!!!
Alex I appreciate your videos but I genuinely am curious if it’s necessary for your wife to make the sounds the “Mmhs” etc and I appreciate her but are the sounds necessary can we just hear the words 😩 am I the only one???
I understand why the sounds can be annoying but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with them. I mean if you’re in church sometimes you make agreeing sounds to something the preacher said (except you’re the person that might be quiet throughout the whole service😆😅). Sometimes when she makes this sounds it makes me go back to what Alex said and really pay closer attention.
