In this video, we will examine Lockheed Martin's brand new solution for the DDG(X)'s requirement for a larger Vertical launching System (VLS), which they dub the Growth-VLS (G-VLS). The Growth-VLS is designed to accomidate the larger diameter Conventional Prompt Stike (CPS) hypersonic missile. I hope you will enjoy this video!

The USN has something against the cruiser category even though the Zumwalts and DDGX are the size of cruisers.

Well since they stole our fighter jet blueprints and designs. Its game on. Plus DDGX is not built by USA, its contracted out from the same people who made french made ship, just tweaking to include USA made tech (radar, gun, defenses, weapons). Its not as big as X055.

That is a common reaction to this design. The DDG(X) program office did say this design was notional and a final design has not yet been selected.
