I was lucky enough to see an X-29 on a test flight when I worked at Edwards (ENIO) in 1985.

Although never built, the X-30 "National Aerospace Plane" is a fascinating story. Deserving of the "Fred treatment?"

Great info..thanks again.. Seems strange that human pilots will be replaced...I used to drive a Crane..guess what?.. Robots do it now..(not all..but some).. Anyway..great show..
