Grumpy has had many adventures in the Jungle just North of Orange Coast. He has met many different creatures there, some friendly - some not as much. / simgretina / simgretina simgretina.ban...
At first I was kinda sad that Peggy Suave was on pause, but i'm really starting to love this universe a lot. Not as much as Peggy Suave, but this is still super amazing to listen to, I love how you give your songs a purpose without needing to use words in the song itself.
*Donkey king music, Sim Grentina, and a remix style where the ingredients needed to make the perfect song, but Sim Grentina accidentally added ☢️GREAT SONG WRITING☢️! And thus, "every song ever made by Sim Grentina" was born!*
I'm a bit late but I want to say this Your music is always a highlight whenever I see the notification that you've made a new song or remix your music is a very big inspiration for my art and I even made a character completely inspired from your Queen of Space track it's something I've never really done but it just goes to show how much your music inspires me and how much I enjoy listening to your work
Yet another astounding job, Sim Gretina! I get a very gamey feeling from all these songs, but I'm having trouble imagining what that game would be like. The farthest I've gotten in possibly a Metroidvania that focuses more on exploration than combat. Maybe to allow for more exploration, some mechanic that allows you to jump into the back/foreground, kind of like in "Shantae: Risky's Revenge" but with more polish. I have no clue how it would tie in, but I'd love an "If you see it, you can travel there" kind of design. So, what are your people's thoughts?
How about a 3d game, where the whole objective is to get breakfast, hence the name Grumpy Shark. He hasn't had coffee yet. It'd play like Skyrim X Crash bandicoot X Super mario sunshine, and it would have a load of Paper Mario esque humor. Sound good?
Time to start collecting bananas already? Fine, I'll get my barrel cannon... Listening to this again, I could totally see the Grumpy shark apathetically walking along in a steady walk cycle while the background changed to fanastical scenes.
I am loving this series!!! This is by far my favorite work from you! And I love the artwork as well, it really compliments the song and the combination really makes me feel! Wonderful!
Gosh, I haven't listened to your music in forever and this is the first one I came back to. I honestly can't think of why I stopped because this is so catchy and light hearted. I love it
You truly are one of my greatest inspirations, both for art and music. I can only to dream to be as good as you someday. your work puts a smile on my face and a groove in my step everytime I listen. keep up the good the work and have good day.
first Peggy Suave, now Grumpy Shark... I need one (or both) of them to be a full fledged story! like a comic or a cartoon or a video game. your talent and creativity honestly amazes me, Sim.
If I could just get Sim Gretina's music in liquid form to start every day with, that would be great, thanks. The Grumpy Shark tracks are all brilliant but Jungle Swing is probably my favorite. Definitely top 3. It's just such an incredible tune!
