The fact that Ghazt and Grumpyre mimic their sounds from the main game’s title screen now I wonder if this trend will play out throughout the other ethereals
Just two words Love it, I love how baby grumpyres design looks like adult grumpyres concept art, I love how you somehow made grumpyre work on cloud island of all islands, and I love his animation on cave island. Basically everyone did a fantastic job can’t wait for reebro!
I was just about to comment: “remember when Grumpyre sung shoombagala back in the early days of Nova’s channel?” And then this little goober sings it too 😊
Very nice job! If the pattern keeps up, all the ethereals will sing/play something from the main game loading screen. I liked Grumpyre's laugh in cave and the cloud island sound sounds like my mimic on cloud prediction lol.
I love how the baby grumpyre does the voice in the intro, and it’s also so cute!! And the adult looks so clean, AND THE FLIP ON CLOUD ISLAND WAS PERFECT, it’s also extremely similar to the real voice AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE CAVE ISLAND SOUND AND ANIMATION, THE LAUGH WAS EVERYTHING
Ahhhh. This makes me remember when I was younger, playing the game not long after its first anniversary, and ethereals were the craziest things to get ahold of. I remember this specifically right now, because grumpyre was the very first ethereal I ever got back then! :]
I LOVE THIS LIL FLUFFBALL!!! and them being in cave and cloud is perfect! Again, you guys are doing fantastic with these!! :) Im excited to see humbug in the long distant future ALSO my critter dubut!! Proud to be part of the critter squad!
i’m loving this series so far, the ethereals are my favorite and j can tell and incredible amount of love and work went into this! the fact it’s afraid of the dark is so ironic and cute! being the shadow ethereal and all
_I’ll catch a premiere of one of these someday…_ If I were to have a nickel for every time that I’ve seen someone make Grumpyre into basically just an *O R B* for its monsterling appearance, I would have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.😅 It also seems like Grumpyre is following a little trend behind Ghazt on Continent, with both of them playing their respective sounds from the theme of The Monster World! (In which Hugo did a great job voicing, btw!) I also love the lil spin that Grumpyre does on Cloud Island, resembling that of what Whiz-Bang does, and performing lil handstands for its Cave Island sounds! (And the same said for Raw, also doing a great job voicing the monster for these two islands!) Did I forget to mention by how I absolutely LOVE how fluffy Grumpyre looks? They’re like a fluffy, angy ball of darkness that needs ALL the cuddles in the world! You, and Raw Zebra did a great job rendering the Grumpyre’s monsterling, and adult forms respectively! (Also, Season of Love Jr. Grumpyre looks pretty dashing!)
Just watched this, along with Ghazt And I gotta say, all the people who worked on it did an amazing job! Excited for more! (The video editing is awesome too btw I love it)
It's a nice reference that young Grumpyre sings the old loading screen music, very nice fan made D.O.F Grumpyre! Also OMG. Cave Island Grumpyre I love his devious little laugh omg omg.
@@user-mm7to6yf7l kinda old, since the old loading screen before Spurrit Holiday 2024 update had a voice singing similar to Young Grumpyre. New one doesn't really have any voices I think.
@@hsandco9560 well it kinda has, the way it's styled is different, old version felt like a MSM island, and the new one, for the map during and after Spurrit Holiday 2024 doesn't have any vocals and feels more musicy than instruments and vocals.
Missed opportunity to use the babies wings as a cloak. I want his design to be as if he's snuggling with a blanket from the cold. It'd be so darn cute.
Since ghazt went to the first two outer islands and grumpyre went to the last two reebro will probably go to party and cloud and Jeeode could go to space and cave while humbug could go to space and cloud? Jus a lil prediction for the 1 element ethereal monsters (I HOPE 2 ELEMENTS ARE IN THIS)
Somehow, the idea of baby Grumpyre being just a tiny lil ball of darkness makes perfect sense and I cannot imagine a baby grumpyre looking any other wa Edit: and its animations are so much fun. The spin animation makes it feel like an evil Whizbang which... looking at their body plan yeah they pretty much are. And the Cave Island where it stands on its arms and laughs like a villain just feels so in character and adds a nice new sound to Cave Island
I just gotta say, I love these little guys! Their sounds and animations are just amazing, and they look so cute as babies! I think this is my favorite so far (I know there has only been two), because I absolutely love the little laugh Grumpyre does! I honestly can’t wait for the others, and see how unique you can make them! As always, great work, Nova!
