This look has been here since I was in highschool. I’m now a junior in college. The “90s I’m emo bc I’m cool” look has been here since like 2016. How old are you
@@EmilyQueen-bh3qmbut there's also some fashion related to it! Mainly influenced by Seattle in the 80-90s and Kurt Cobain's style, grunge fashion was originally represented with undone plaid button-ups, baggy jeans with maybe some tears, dirty ragged clothes, wallet chains, and worn skating shoes. Usually also some band shirts and unwashed hair. Nowadays though, the grunge fashion is more associated with stripes instead of plaid as the style became more popular and mainstream, making appearances in popular fashion magazines in the 1990s.
This is pretty accurate to the makeup in the 90s when the only things girls could afford were black eyeliner and mascara and would smudge it and sleep in it
That’s exactly how I did my eyes as a teen. I remember once someone asked me how and I was like ‘just put it in and smudge’. It was the era of those funny tiny sponge brushes.
That looks like an Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme mascara too, we definitely didn't have the money for those big brands when we were teenagers ! It's my favourite mascara now !
@@goeticfolklorenot really its totalyv skater boy. Grunge makup was not as havy around the eyes, and usually had rum raisin lipstick or a red lipstick that wasn't precisely aplied
Miss this era! 41 now... used to do my eyeliner like this; had my chain wallet and flannel shirt tied around my waist with white tank top and ripped jeans!
This is what I grew up with. ❤ I'll probably never grow out of it lol. You look so much like Avril Levine with this look! I'm glad this is cool again. It never went out of fashion to me lol
Ugh, early 00s I had the biggest crush on a goth ginger girl with eyes exactly like yours. She did her makeup like this too. Ginger girls are something else man. Shout out to all of you! 😂❤
