I completely forgot to mention info on my covid booster. I got the booster by @Pfizer . Both the covid shot and the flu shot are safe to get while breastfeeding.
You CANNOT get flu from the flu shot because it is a killed virus. That being said, shortly after getting the vaccines, I had a headache and felt tired - likely the result of my immune system reacting and creating antibodies. I was able to take Tylenol and catch my usual one hour nap that I’ve been living on during this Mat leave, woke up feeling much better!
