2022 was a very challenging year for me as my mental health was at its worst peak of deterioration. It was a year marked by frequent mental breakdowns, relapses, and a persistent sense of anxiety. I found myself grappling with unresolved traumas and experiencing a midlife crisis that weighed heavily on my mind. Each night, sleep eluded me, and my appetite dwindled. The weight of my struggles made it nearly impossible to concentrate on my academics, leading to a sense of despair and self-doubt that left me feeling utterly disappointed in myself. Reflecting on the past six months, amid the challenges and hardships, I have experienced moments of joy and growth that have profoundly impacted my well-being. I have embarked on numerous journeys, both physical and internal. I traveled to different places and went out more, which allowed me to broaden my horizons, gain new perspectives, and find inspiration in the beauty of this world. These experiences have provided valuable opportunities for self-reflection, enabling me to delve deep into my thoughts and emotions. I have dedicated considerable time and effort to personal growth and am actively working on becoming the best version of myself. It hasn't always been easy, as I still encounter some problems, but the progress I have witnessed within myself has been truly empowering and motivating. In short, the past six months in which I focused on self-growth and healing have been the best things that happened in my life. I am grateful that this year has brought about positive changes in my life, and I am committed to continuing this transformative path, knowing that each step I take brings me closer to becoming the person I aspire to be.I am also deeply grateful for the incredible people around me who have been a part of my life and have supported me throughout my journey especially my family, friends, and my boyfriend. Their unwavering presence and support have been my guiding light during moments of darkness and despair. I am forever indebted to these remarkable souls for their love, patience, and unwavering belief in my ability to overcome the challenges I face. Their unwavering support has given me the courage to keep pushing forward, and for that, I am eternally thankful💗

My fiancé finally proposed to me just this june ❤ we're 5 yrs in a relationship and kinilig ako when he finally knelt down. The best thing that has happened to me so far is that I have learned to let go of the things I cannot control. As an empath, I used to give a damn about everything, and it exhausted me mentally and emotionally to the point that I got derailed. What I am most grateful for is that I am still alive despite the major health concerns last February (Diagnosis of Ventricular Remodeling + Hypertension) while juggling school, full-time work, and sidelines. For my family, I'd do everything, even if I miss spoiling myself at this point in time. I have been storing my dream stuff for the meantime in my shopping platform carts and hoping that one day, I get to spend for myself as well. I just hope by then, I'm still alive. LOL

Grateful I met amazing people this year, lots of failures and possibly more to go but yeah going headstrong for the second half of this year🥰

I think the best thing that has happened to me the first 6 months of 2023 is that I have slowly come to love myself even more. More to the point that I more comfortable and stable at work. More to the point that I care less about what people say about me and care more about what makes me happy (which includes going ham with my makeup even when seeing patients haha!) It sounds too generic and general but hey, it takes a lot of effort and energy to embrace and love yourself wholly.

I don’t know what clicked, but at the end of 2022 I just decided that I should be living my life the way I want to live it, and not care what anybody else thinks. This year definitely has a plan for us all. Some may have their busiest months and some may have dull and boring days. We're diverse and our stories might not have the same content, excitement and plot twists. At one point, everyone will have their own struggles to endure and battles to fight silently. On this year, seven months has passed, yet I can only consider I have lived purposefully since last month. I had continuously worked the past few months yet I can't define my routine as something productive and meaningful. It was boring althrough out till I discover the UGC community. It was just a mere step to break my repetitive system at first. I want to discover something to spice up my life, something to do out of mundane life. I learned a lot of things like how to start as a UGC creator, how to mingle with co-UGC creators, come up with relevant and catchy contents. It was definitely a struggle since I need to start from scratch, buy necessary things, research about brand's needs and how to make initiatives. You have to start from zero. Zero followers, zero supporters and zero knowledge. Not everything is served in golden spoon, and not everything is already on your plate. I learned to thrive for ideas, to learn the process and to do proper research to avoid future mistakes. What's the most important thing that I learned is to take a break. I was overwhelmed with the new experience, and I forgot to take a rest. I pursued my newly found hobby without thinking my physical health and mental state. In an attempt to make ourselves better and to change our lives, many times we forget to be grateful for the things we have. I forgot how should I still be grateful despite having new things in life. We are always overwhelmed of new things, experiences and situations, We always forget that there's a reason why we encounter it. We aren't given a difficulty that we can't resolve. We are always trusted to solve human ingenuity, to identify and exploit opportunities in the critical part of our daily lives. Many individuals don’t get a chance to make it as far as you did. Always remember, every step you make, it's important and impactful. It may not be tangible, but you will always have that support for all the things you do and we should be thankful for it. You got to live, survive, exist and be able to dream. Be grateful for everything. I am grateful for the additional 2 letters (RN) after my name. I passed the nursing board exam 🎉 with a sane mind and passing it before actually graduating (but i’ts coming soon). I'm grateful that my ankle sprain and ligament injury has finally begun to heal. Nakaka lakad na ako nang 3+hrs without pain and discomfort. Unlike before na 30 min lang, sumasakit na. Slowly but surely, ang ankle strength and mobility exercises helped me big time. It went from 30min to 1hr, to 1hr.45min, & so on... Kaya to whoever's reading this, kaya natin to mga babes. Push lang tayo, tiisin lng natin. Maaabot din tayo dun. ❤
