Going into Junior year, here is some advice and statements for Freshmen: -Upperclassmen don't actually hate you, you're just kinda annoying but it's okay we all were. -Maybe this is just me but don't be afraid to ask for help like you are here for you not anyone else. -Nobody cares that you have a crush on Timmy -TAKE YOUR GRADES SERIOUSLY I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. This will SET your GPA and its so hard to move if you slack off freshman year so like don't do that. -DONT. WALK. SLOW. -CHOSE A SIDE OF THE HALLWAY TO WALK ON ISTG -Don't stand there and talk to your friends. Please. We all have places to go. That is a good way to get yelled at by upperclassmen. -Nobody cares if you cuss. Except your teachers maybe. -Social life isn't as important as you think, grades are super important. -Don't try to start things with upperclassmen it will not end well for you. That's what I have anyways lol good luck.
Question, I’m in 8th grade literally trying my hardest to keep all my grades passing. I’m in online school this year for the first time and it’s soooooooo much harder than the public school where I’ve gone to my whole life (and always gotten straight a’s). I’m going back to public school throughout high school thankfully. Are grades in 8th grade just as important as grades in high school?
Wee Woo I mean technically collages and universities don't look at gr8. They look at your marks in highschool. So as long as you do well enough to pass gr8 you are fine. But gr8 is a really good time to make good notes and develop good studying habits.
How are freshman annoying to the upperclassmen w/o talking to them? I wanna be cool w everyone in my highschool ( i start hs in September) but i’m shy so i wouldn’t know how to talk to them. I’m obviously gonna be myself because I personally think I’m cool, if I may say 😉z
Freshman advice: 1. don't run to every single class, you will be fine, everyone is late on the first day. 2. Upperclassmen do not like you and we think you are very annoying especially when you think you run the school. 3. No, that attractive senior does not love you, they only want to hook up with you and then leave. 4. Your grades do matter freshman year so please try your best. 5. most teacher in high school are not going to baby you every step of the way with getting homework in, it's your responsibility but a lot will be mad that you didn't do it, so please also do your homework. 6. That test you got a D- doesn't mean your world is ending. 7. Teacher want you to ask for help if you don't understand it, that is what they are there for. 8. there is a chance you will mostly likely not have your friends in all if any of your classes, use this as an opportunity to reach out and make new friends (yes I know it's hard I was the same way but all it takes is that first step.) 9. The person you are dating throughout high school especially in freshman and sophomore year, you will mostly likely not end up marrying. for the love of God please don't go around calling them your wife or husband because when you guys break up it will be very embarassing especially when you called them that publicly. 10. last of all enjoy freshman year, use it as a way to make new friends, explore different class options and see what best fits you! Leila Mayfield Nah some juniors and seniors at my school be wilding af especially the football players and the drug ones. They will roast tf out of you and aren't afraid to throw hands.
My personal freshman advice: -don't be afraid to make friends with upperclassmen (they can be pretty cool) -don't yell at the top of your lungs -don't run all over the hallways -if you're having a slow day, pajamas are the way to go (least we're allowed to wear them at my school. Some people brought blankets haha) -you don't get as much homework as everyone makes it out to me Anyways, good luck with this year! My freshman year was rough, but I'm sure you'll do fine. advice for freshman or ppl going into middle school 1. pls pls pls don't run to class, you will look really stupid if everyone else is walking u should too. 2. USE UR LOCKER don't stuff all of ur books for the entire day into ur bag u will look even more dumb, plus its super heavy and u don't wanna b carrying that shit around all day. 3. ur allowed to use the bathroom alone u don't have to take like 6 ppl w u if u need to piss. 4. don't be super loud while talking abt ur classes or complaining that ur locker is far away from ur friends. 5.don't sit somewhere where you know upperclassmen sit. (at my school we have a senior tree and if any freshman sit there they will get kicked out) 6. finally, and most importantly. DO NOT DECORATE UR LOCKER pls I'm trying to help u. ppl will laugh and u will be sad. all the freshman at school bring wallpaper and chandeliers and shit. u don't need it and it takes up way to much space.
THANK YOU..although I am a freshman myself others need to listen and especially about the locker decor that ish is out of control and with them acting grown you'd think that they would see that your just embarrassing yourself with all that. And with the books thing your right. right now at school all I need everyday is 2 folders and a 5 star notebook until I need to switch to a new one

Freshman, Just chill. It seems scary and then u get there and it is no big deal. We (juniors & seniors) don't hate u, we just act like we hate to because (tbh idk why) Have fun and live life. Don't stress until u r a junior
Tbh I am going to be a freshmen too. But I been on high school camps more than my middle school and trust me you get way more freedom in high school then middle school. A tip is be yourself because if you don't you might fall in the wrong in crowd and then drama stirs up. So yea. Good Luck 💚

For straightening hair, I found that putting a comb or brush in front of the straightener while straightening can help prevent knots from forming so quickly and can make you hair look softer❤️
Miranda Reagan Im going to attend highschool this year, and i'm going to be a freshman, and im really nervous because im shy and awkward, so i would like to know how to make friends since all of my friends from middle school will go to different highschools.
Faith & Hope Honestly there's all different types of groups in highschool (like cliques), If you just be yourself you'll find a group of people you'll fit in with. Im going into 10th grade and literally 9th grade year, I thought I was going to have no friends because I didn't have classes with people. I met so many new types of people like I was honestly surprised becoming friends with people I would have never before. Everything will come together in place as you move through the school year.
A tip that’s works for me when straightening my hair is that I spray my whole head with heat protectant then brush it through, then I brush my hair as I straighten it. So like instead of holding every strand with my hand like you do, I hold it down with either a brush or comb so it comes through smoothly.
maybe try using a brush or a comb while straightening your hair! it really helps! also you can use some frizz free spray so it doesn't get frizzy by the end of the day! btw i love your videos :)
I find for my hair it is best to shower the night before, but one thing I would not do is put up my hair up in a bun, even if i straighten it, because it can leave a mark and for some reason can collect oil for me. Also, if you do find its easier for you to put a bun in your hair go for dry shampoo in the morning if your hair seems oily or seems as if it might get oily throughout the day. I straighten my hair everyday for the school year so I have to work on this because most times I forget but it will help if you use a heat protectant just so your hair will not get damaged! If I straighten it, I will either leave it as it is, or bring two pieces in the front back and use a mini clip or hair tie, I think it is a nice way to add a little something! Hope these tips help!! :)

-upper class men don't actually hate you we just have to act like we do (you'll understand one day) -don't experiment with any drugs other than weed -don't throw any parties I did and yeah the were badass and I was that cool freshman who threw amazing parties but then people expect them from you -just don't date/talk to older guys/girls keep this in mind if they can't get anyone their age there's probably a reason -you can miss a class every now and then but don't go crazy with your new found freedom they don't baby you in high school so skipping and leaving school is very easy and yes every once in a while is okay but if you do it too often you will fall behind and trust me it's not fun -say fuck off to peer pressure like honestly your friends are gonna envy the fact that you have your shit together in sophomore year because they just spent freshman year partying and messing around -don't think you owe a guy/girl anything EVER!!!! -stay away from drama it's stupid -keep very close loyal friends and drop the rest it's better this way -if you find yourself having a difficult time tell someone a lot of the times high school students get overwhelmed with school and social lives and end up doing irrational things such as drugs hurting themselves or in worse cases committing suicide -MOST IMPORTANT: don't care about what other people think just keep to yourself and don't stress to much because I promise you high school is nothing like middle school it's so much better because nobody cares about you (in the best way possible) everyone is too focused on their school and future to pick out every little thing they don't like about you so be happy be yourself set goals and prosper. My advice to any freshman would be don't take everything so seriously! When I was a frosh I cared so much about my hair, clothes, and what everyone thought of me. But now looking back at freshman year I just laugh because I now know none of that matters. Just focus on enjoying your new school and meeting new people because in the end that what I loved most about freshman year.

It’s not a bad thing tip number one never care about what anyone else is wearing 🤷♀️ if they like then let them like it it’s not the end of the world if you see someone with pounds of makeup on and curls some people care about their appearance.

these videos are so cute hahah im class of 19. my main advice for you guys is try hard in school during your first two years because that's when grades affect your gpa the most, get involved in extracurriculars (get leadership roles over the years if you can), start volunteering (typically at a place that you can go to once or twice a week every week), and respect upperclassmen lol. take your schoolwork seriously if you got high goals and it's never too early to look at colleges!!!
freshman year is sooooo easy if you stay motivated. you'll get through those first 2 years of high school in no time. just dont overstress cuz... it's only high school lol
Tips for ur hair: When you straighten it make sure to take out all of the product beforehand (including conditioner, hair styling products, and especially any oils). So that way your hair isn't stiff and it will be way softer. Also, put the straightener on high heat and only pass one strand of hair 1-time sometimes maybe twice depending on if your hair needs it and do it slowly rather than doing 1 strand multiple times. And make sure the pieces you straighten are not big. Do small pieces each time. And yeah ur welcome lol
One of the biggest tips I can give you is when you’re straightening your hair use a comb.Using your hand is just not the way to go.For one your hand has lots of oil on it and your directly transferring it to your hair.Also you could very well burn your hand.Another tip I have is put spray in your.BtZ Beyond the Zone Flat Iron protection is really good.Thats all I have for today.I subscribed to your channel!Your really pretty!💗
Since your hair is curly spray it with a leave in and then blow it out with a round brush then straighten it. It does less damage to ur natural curls. Hope this helps Leave in: Its a 10 brand leave in spray.
about the hair thing, i'd recommend getting some form of heat protectant spray. you've got beautiful hair and surely you want it to stay that way so that's just something i'd recommend.
