If you find it hard to go to church but not gym, that’s because it’s spiritual. Just like when you start to get extremely tired and yawn non stop when your reading your Bible, but can easily go through 3 hrs of Netflix. It’s Spiritual .
I agree, I read once that “the devil does his work on believers because those are the ones he wants. He doesn’t waste time on unbelievers because they are already of the world.” And that always gets to me when I think eh I can just read the Bible tomorrow, or I’ll pray later.
@@ellifunk yep I agree, if the devil can put distractions( like Netflix) in front of you that’ll prevent you from reading the Bible or simply doing Gods work, he will. And what I mean by Distractions, I mean your weaknesses, the devil will use your weakness to pass the time, to put you in a trance, Like for me, it’s Netflix unfortunately. I find my self spending hours catching up on my episodes when I could be spending that time reading my Bible, doing something that lll benefit me .
@@arwen08 I don’t think people should change the way they dress to go to church. I wear the same level of modesty and kind of clothing in my day to day going out as I do for going to church. We all need to decide how we want to appear before God and before people and keep to that in every part of our lives. If you believe it is wrong for her to dress goth in church but fine for her to in the rest of her life I personally see that as hypocritical.
@@arwen08 God sees us every day, so you would actually be changing the way you are dressing out of respect for the people at church, not for God. In which case dressing more conservatively is more of a personal choice so that people don’t get mad or think bad of you?
@@AravaxElvor why are you so offended? i never even spoke towards you. actually the idea behind it is dressing nicely to worship Jesus, as its a special occasion. and going to worship Jesus with chains, ripped up black outfits, high platform boots and vampire makeup isnt appropriate. i couldnt care less about what other people think, its the idea of looking nice when you visit God. and wtf did i say that was "hypocritical"? do you even know what that word means? if you dont agree with my comment then move on instead of attacking me. geez.

I absolutely adore how you're open about this. I love going to church, but my body hates it. Can be anything, tho (ie. Class, workout, favorite series release, etc), it's just so hard for me to get up early.

9 am! My church starts @ 11 and Sunday School @ 10. Also, I love how you’re not really scared to post about your faith. May I should be a little less nervous about it
Girl or boy what church you going to because my church starts at 7am amd ends at 12:30pm and after that there is still sunday school which ends at 2:00pm
@@Afly-who-jisung-stepped-on do you go to latin mass? if not dang that is a long mass haha my church starts at 10:30am on sundays and ends around 12:00pm and CCD starts when it ends but ive graduated from that (getting confirmed very soon!!)

I already know that my family would be late to the 9 AM church service so we go to the 11 O clock service instead. Another reason we do this is to eat lunch at a reasonable time after church.
My church used to be at 10am but the venue we are in can’t be booked for 10am until July so until then it’s at 2pm, it wakes it hard to do anything else on sundays 😭
My grandparents always used to sing in the church choir so when I was younger I would get so excited to be able to go an hour early while they practiced me and my friend would play with toy horses in the gathering room church was my favorite thing and I started going wednesdays too it always feels better knowing you visited the house of god
you might wanna start looking at "gen y" stores that cater to middle age people as they tend to make more modest stores, so places like Old Navy would probably be good to look. but you can honestly find it anywhere that isnt a store catered towards teens as those usually sell very short dresses and crop tops
Girl I feel the same. I can't even wake up to work out either. In my homecountry church started at 11. 9 am is way too early. Unfortunately I'm a night owl. I've tried to go for 6 months and I only went once
oh my church starts at 9 am… today i woke up at 8 and thought i’d have enough time but i went to church with my teeth not brushed, and i was putting my shoes on in the car😂
my Bible class starts at 8:30 and service starts at 10:00 so and I like to get there a little early so I get up 6:50 and rush to take a shower and do my hair and makeup and eat a little something
Personally, besides praise and worship, you’re just sitting there versus getting up to go “actively” do something like the gym plus you kind of control when you leave other activities but church is until church ends..not to say this is why, this is just why for me 😅 I’ve started watching the nursery kids and listening to the service goes by quicker.

My stepdad used to take me to 6am Monday mass before school every week. I'd wake up at 5am no problem to go to work with him- he worked as a ski slope paramedic and I could ski for free before they opened, before the schoolday- but it was so easy to fall asleep in the pews.
I feel that too getting up for nine to go to church is hard we aim to go to the 930 service every Sunday most the time on going to the 11. My excuse so I have two kids, but my husband and I divide and conquer and get our outfits picked out the day before sometimes life just gets in the way.

bruh SERIOUSLY. i easily wake up most days at 5AM for work, but it’s SO hard to wake up at 8AM to be ready for church 🥲 i just tell myself that’s because Sunday was God’s rest day 🤣
For me it's hard bc m not spiritual, and I'm not Christian. I'm a mix of atheist and the exact opposite (starts w an s) but I still go w my fam and pay my respects, but I don't know what to wear bc moat of clothing would make a grandma get attacked by the holy ghost and pass out
I feel like church is hard to get up for bc you know your waking up to go sit still and silently for an hour to hour and a half standing up every 10-15 minutes to sing or pray, for me it felt like getting up to basically go back to sleep 😂
Your doing great my church starts at 11 but Sunday school starts at 10 today we woke up at 6 and 7 but still got there at 9:45 and we don’t live that far.❤❤
