I think the reason why eva's channel is soooo soo interesting and unique is because she's not like others wanting to grow and become popular. She wants this channel and her videos to be her memory and that makes me want to watch her videos even more :')

i’m watching this bc if i wanna learn french, i NEED to become comfortable with a french speaking environment which means, since i don’t live in a french speaking home, movies and videos in french are something for me to watch in order to get used to french being around me.
As a Canadian but from Ontario, Quebec French truly is one of a kind 😅 I grew up learning France French so that’s why whenever I hear Quebec French I always get thrown for a loop haha

I like these types of videos. Sometimes it's nice to hear another language in an authentic way and not through a movie or something. I know pretty much no French yet I was able to pick up some words I recognized which was cool. Love your channel!

Rosie Avelyn - it's true that exam technique is a huge part of school, but at least in my french lessons we learn grammar sentence structures and key vocabulary and stuff. i feel like if eva says "i'm going to try a funky eyeshadow look" in french, even if i might not know the word for "funky" or "eyeshadow", i should at least know the other words shes using
lmaoo im so glad i didn't take french, gcse spanish is way easier in my opinion, it's much more easy to learn pronunciation wise. also good luck with your mocks and gcse's everyone! let's hope gavin williamson doesn't fuck us over like last time :((

on the bright side, should you decide to officially pursue French it’ll be very easy because of your being Canadian. a lot of French stuff is unconsciously inside our brains because of long time exposure :). like example, i’ve just decided to take it super seriously and i’ve been told i don’t have an accent even though i don’t speak it fluently. so uh, don’t lose hope. good luck

Same. All my cousins on my dad side speaks French and I went to Paris to go see one of my cousins get married couldn’t understand a damn thing! I was so embarrassed because I learned German so every time I try to converse with them I spoke German instead of French or English! I just completely forgot how to English! 😅🤣
