Hey Tea, new subscriber, very first video I watch on your RU-vid channel. Shout out to you for still giving him your energy because ALOT of women would of ghosted and blocked him for wanting to be on the phone for too long, that would be their 'ick' lol. He clearly has too much free time to want to be on the phone with you more and too eager to see you sooner, as a guy in my opinion he is doing way too much on the phone but it is your choice to continue with him or not. Him not respecting your boundaries by not accepting Friday as your only answer but kept trying is an indicator of the future. Good for you. Your head is on straight. Too many women are ending up dead or abused because they ignore the “little” things at first. Also as far as telling them about your job, just say you own your own company, and change the subject. Don’t stay in the phone with men all day long either. Especially at first. They will take all your time for no reason. ❤❤❤❤.

I’d say free lancer. Just come up with a phrase that down plays it a little. Because what you do is not important early on. I’m a quality chemist that makes great money but when on a date I simply say I work in a lab and then talk about something else.

The guy with the texting while you’re sleeping (especially if it was super late),then calling multiple times, and the mad emoji is a BIG NO… he sounds controlling. Don’t ignore those things that seem minuscule, or lower your requirements to be accepting. As you said (and know), people pretend… especially in the beginning. I’m in my late 30’s and I’m afraid to get back out here because these men be tripping sometimes 😂

At 53 I am significantly older than you, but can honestly say I’ve experienced love bombing and the “it’s just a joke” thing at almost every age. The red flags list in your last video was like hearing my own list read back to me. Thank you for including that. It is so, so important for woman to stop ignoring red flags. This reminds me of my current situation a little. A co worker I've known for about 2 years finally got up the nerve to ask me out on a date. Now, I always knew he had his eyes on me but I always kept it short with him bc 1. Even though he's a "nice guy" he's not really my type. 2. He's displayed behavior patterns with other people that clearly shows he could be short tempered. I did make dinner plans with him bc my friends was like just give him a chance. I'm at the point in my life where if I'm getting the slightest sense of a bad vibe from you I'm not going to even entertain the situation so after careful consideration. I canceled the date and will not be rescheduling. Long story short go with your intuition. To me it seems like you were forcing yourself to try to give this guy a chance when he already "crossed boundaries" from the start.

100% you should travel. I went to Italy and Greece last summer and it was so amazing, inspiring, transformative…..so many things. I’m going to Iceland this summer. Traveling can be a little stressful, but not to the point that you shouldn’t go! You WILL NOT regret it. ❤

when you are firm with your boundaries it lets them know they cant mess about so definitely let them know when you feel uncomfortable or if you feel like you are being disrespected because narcissists or controlling people tend to be nicer in person in the beginning but their traits can show through in text so I'm glad you distanced yourself from him x

Spain and Italy are both amaaaazing! Out of both countries, I preferred travel in Spain (Barcelona and Madrid) the most and I felt like it was easy since most signage is in both spanish and english. Italy is an incredibly charming and fun country (I've been to six cities and will be back in August) and Barcelona was a more relaxed and chill vibe with easy access to places to party. Overall, the transit system is soo much better in Europe (and I live in a major city in the US) and because the EU is a very transient place, it's set up well for travel - either train, flights, or bus. Uber is always accessible and I've even found it to be cheaper in Europe. Go!! You'd have an incredible time!

I agree to take things slow, get to know each other first. If they're pushing too hard, then it might not be worth it. Also, be careful about going to his place and meeting his friends too soon. This is coming from a place of experience. Long story short, the guy I was seeing several years ago tried to get me drunk so his friends could take advantage of me. Lucky for me I'm not a big drinker, so I came to my senses in time to get the hell out of there. So yeah, you're not overreacting at all. Too many women go through these things. Thanks for sharing.

First off, I'm loving these GRWM/Chat vlogs lately! Second: So proud of you for vocalizing your boundaries, regognizing they were being crossed, and moving on. I still have issues sometimes saying what i feel should be common sense😂. Last guy i was talking to always tried to make plans with me last minute. Even when I would tell him when I was free days or a week ahead of time, he'd still wait til the day of to ask me out. The last time he did that and I told him "No", without an explanation he just stopped reaching out 🤷🏽‍♀️. I thought maybe I shoulda said something. But it is what it is! Love you gworl! I can understood that a guy was not good for the first date but what about her ? The best red flag is the person that said that he is single because the fault was only from the other person or people that they have dated were not good enough. In the story time I have just understand that she is not ready for a relationship because she was only speaking about her own feelings and not from the other guy. Relationship is not a question of experiences but knowledge. Thank you for sharing your dating stories with us, I was excited to know how it went! Definitely go to Italy. Getting there isn’t bad. The flight is long, if you leave in the night it doesn’t feel as bad. I stayed in Florence and then visited some of the other cities. It was such a fun time. I hope you get to go 💕

It’s very stressful and confusing traveling to Europe LOL. I had a scary experience in Italy traveling alone, but it was my first trip out of the country and now I love solo trips. Travel is like nothing else, it’s so amazing. I say go for it! If you want to do something that’s a getaway but still domestic, try Hawaii. 🤗

I did something similar when I first started to seriously date too. Especially when the conversations really flowed and such. But later on would find out in certain instances how my partner was selfish, insecure and just not a good person😅 you’re doing the right thing sis for sure, it’s not negativity it’s just caution since anyone cab pretend to be who they’re not nowadays…or you’re just waiting to get the full scope of who they are. Edit: I’ll admit tho that pushiness from him about seeing you earlier was a bit worrying, sometimes I feel like men do that to test how far they can push your boundaries. So it’s good that your cautious, he needs to respect your schedule.

Europe is so fun! You should definitely go I’ve only been to Spain and Portugal but I definitely wanna go to France, Italy, Greece…all the things lol 😂 the flight was super long but I think it helps if you do an overnight flight so you can just sleep through it. The first time I went to Spain we had a 7 hour flight to our layover in Paris but it was at like 7 or 8 pm so after sleeping for a few hours we were basically there. If you end up going pls vlog your experience ❤❤❤

When u wanna see the ‘real’ person, go out w/them in group settings. Eventually they drop their guard, even if for a moment… here + there. If ur friends aren’t mutual friends, u’ll eventually get warnings (if they exist) from certain family members of his. Mine had a sister who saw him getting serious enough to wanna marry me, + she told me to be sure to get him ‘in check’ bc he always physically fought his sisters. Scared me bc it seemed as tho she didn’t wanna flat out say, he is physically abusive to females… which screams angry abusive personality. Turned out to be… true.

I had that experience when I was with an older guy he wanted to be on the phone all the time everyday. I felt like he was tracking me to make sure I wasn’t out and then he’d go travel somewhere with his friends and I wouldn’t hear anything for weeks. Yea follow your instincts

Dude was way too pushy and needy. He needed to take cues from you and respect them. I was talking to a guy and we hadn't met yet, just phone calls and texts. The comment you made about not seeing the red flags in person but them appearing over text/phone. Chile that was my last relationship.
