I found you 2 months ago when searching for Sephora sale recommendations. Then I quickly fell down the rabbit hole watching your every foundation sold at Sephora review. Totally love your non nonsense approach and very instructive makeup application techniques. There is nobody really out there on RU-vid like you! I have a new found love of makeup.

I fell down the rabbit hole as well about a year ago, and I love Nikki, I love her content, her expertise, her family stuff (Mitch and the dogs!). I started watching the 30 days of lip looks (a couple back) and she is sincere and a real expert at her craft. My #1 You tuber!

I’m from New England, Milkweed is a plant that Monarch butterflies enjoy. It’s their habitat and they use their big leaves to hang from when they are caterpillars 🐛 then I think they eat from them too. So milkweed is kind of protected around our area because it’s so crucial for those Monarchs

Milkweed is the food source for monarch caterpillars. I would think that the product was named milkweed to indicate that the product would bring out the butterfly freedom/beauty of the wearer. ❤

i am from/live in the south and my parents have a ton of milkweed in their garden for that reason, the want to attract lots of butterflies. it really is beautiful!

Sending a vote for the "Everything Olive" video you mentioned a few weeks ago! Can you please include how to properly use blue color adjusters (like the Temptu S/B Adjuster) to make foundations work better for light olives? Also, what shade should an olive skin tone use to color correct melasma? Peach? Lavender? Green? Pink?

I find as a sheer coverage the elf foundation does sit quite well. I use shade 11 (I’m a fair / light peach undertone) and it’s almost a perfect match. I haven’t noticed any oxidation. For €8 I am seriously impressed. Only critique is it looks a little dry by the end of the day. For me that’s not as issue as this is my dinner make up foundation (I’m a no make up make up girly for day to day)

With good skin prep, I looked good with the Elf soft glam foundation. I have normal/ more dry skin. Especially with Elf whoa glow sunscreen or hy- gen serum

Hi Nikki! I was so happy I was able to catch the last half of your live in real time! I was on the fence about purchasing the Ciele bronzing stick but watching you apply it has definitely pushed me. As for the Patrick Ta products - whether it be the blush or highlighter - his method is Always to put the Powder First & then the Cream or Balm.... just fyi - cuz you were saying that as well Nikki - w/this formula - but this is his preferred way with his products Anyway...

Milk weed is the same as milk thistle. It's a weed that grows in Fields etc. the inside has a thick sticky fluid that looks like milk. It's good for lots of things naturally. It won't hurt you to touch it

Oil lid friend here. My favorite ulta makeup product is the tinted lid primer. On another note, I would love to see a video on how to apply mascara. I feel like I just now figured it out at age 38. If I could go back and tell the younger me I’m sure she would appreciate it. I’ve been a follower since day-200. I’m so happy Susan Yara convinced you to create your own channel. You’re the only creator I currently watch consistently. (Married, 2 young children and am on the tail end of completing my MBA)

Does the Elf oxidize or does it dry down a different shade for people? I got mine and it looked too light. It dried down one shade darker and was a PERFECT shade for once in my life. Mine wasn’t orange like a rusty color. Just one shade deeper.

And PS - the Baby shade is still available on the Patrick Ta website! Honestly tho - when you see them all swatched, there isn't much of a difference between the shades when spread on the face, as they are all extremely low pigment!
