Nice Nile Rodgers, chunky, fat-back rhythm tone on that Strat! It was the definitive sound engine that drove those Chic songs back in the late 70s’. That, and those popping bass lines cranked out by my old pal, Bernie Edwards….being faithfully laid out here by the bass player. The duo that defined most of the dance hits of the late 70s’ early 80s’. Nice job guys & gals! 🎉👍

I have to say that CHIC was one of my favorite groups when I was a teenager (in the 80s) Because of BERNARD EDWARDS & NILE RODGERS! I have got all the LPs... And I still listen to CHIC (& Sister Sledge) today... Besides the classics, the album "Take it off" from 1981 is a pure masterpiece... Thank you HSCC, you make us happy... We need happy party to raise the disturbed spirit of our time...

OMG! It's the Aussie Nile Rodgers & Bernard Edwards with Tony Thompson keeping the party groove in the pocket. All of you guys and gals nailed it. I am sure Nile and Bernard would approve. I listen to Nile and Bernard songs and productions when I take my walks for exercise. Their music is so upbeat and energizing. So many hits and you guys didn't even play my favorite Nile & Bernard song "We Are Family" which Nile said is the song that has earned him the most money. I was blessed and grateful to have Nile and Bernard produce 3 songs I co-wrote in the 80's. Nile produced "Dancing On The Jagged Edge" for Sister Sledge and Bernard produced "Don't You Want Me" and "Love Injection" for Jody Watley. You guys are by far the best cover band on RU-vid. Thanks for all the great covers you do. 🎤🎸🥁🎹

Great 70's medley. Excellent singing and musicianship plus the tone of the funky Stingray bass just makes everything sound great and danceable.

If anything this is what the young kids on social media should be listening to. Mental health issues will instantly disappear if the youth of today were more focused on how simplistic and fun life, and music was back in the day. This is great that this band and group of musicians bring back the memories of how life was fun, and simple without the stresses of life. Thank you to all that make this happen. I dont know why this aint all on the charts rather than the fake plastic image they portray in mainstream music. That chick on the left singing upside down has great vocal range and she should signed by a major record label and be top of the charts as she sings way way better than any major pop stars with the likes of Taylor Swift. If you close your eyes and just listen you really hear how great she is with her vocal range and depth and that raspiness that make female singers stand out from the rest. She was right up there with the likes of Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, Christina Aguilera and the likes. I miss bands that play real instruments as there were so many to mention and all were top of the charts. This is where real talent shines. Now its all computerized monotone beats and rhythms. I say bring back the 80s with great music and comedy variety shows and watch the world smile and laugh again rather than the dystopian zombified, depressed easily offended, soft and hostile world and society thats now been created, primarily through social media and politics.
