I have quite a high pain tolerance, so I would say it's different for everybody. I went to a very good guy who only does piercings, it did cost quite a bit (all of my piercings did) but he did it with a needle, which didn't hurt at all! Ring piercings in the ear hurt a bit more but for me this one was by far the least painful! And it's so pretty it's worth it, it is super quick because it's a stud :) xx from Germany
