That advice you gave young people was awesome Angie. When people are looked up to like you and you use your platform to help and give advice is truly priceless. Some of us struggle in one way or another and hearing that someone understands where you’re coming from is a life saver to some and a huge relief to others. I hope you share those good comments with your mom so she can see how you have inspired and motivated others who might otherwise not be. I also was close to my mom and I smile every time you say you are too. Cherish her because no one will ever love you as deeply or care period. The first time i dissociated was 4 years ago, i felt as if i was dying. It felt like a dream that i wanted to escape but i couldn’t. Ever since it comes and goes, it’s something that i’ve had to learn to deal with the hard way. I’ve heard that it triggers your fight or flight without realizing that somethings wrong but your body feels as if there is so it reacts that way. It’s still scary to me to this day but i’ve learnt to fight it and calm myself down. There’s times were it happens at work, school, car, w my family, when i’m doing my makeup, and it sucks but #dissociatinggirliesunite
