This might be a stretch, but could an LS460 and 8 speed trans be swapped EASILY into an SC430? I understand that money buys everything, but if the money is too high it obviously isn't worth it. I would have access to a complete (wrecked) 2008 LS460, so any computers and sensors could be used as well. It seems to me that a swap like that would add enough power (about 100hp more) to the old SC that it would make it a modern personal convertible. Lexus doesn't make anything like that anymore (the ISF doesn't count), and it would make for an interesting swap into an engine that is still in production. What are your thoughts? Thanks
Honestly kind of a pain in the rear. The sc430 has a different shufter options than the 430. Had to rewire the plugs to make it work. Would not suggest it. Ibwould go with a gs400 trans a a gs300 differential but it does shorten up the gears alot and hurts highway drivability
Unfortunately Im unfamiliar with the ls430 transmission. A few questions. Does the started turn at all? Is the transmission lock in working order? I know the ls430 shares the same shifter assembly. Meaning that there is a plus minus option for shifting on the ls430 and sc430. I had to rewire my car to allow for propper shifting. Let me know?

Too bad im not on the West Coast. I have these cheap headlights on from previous owner and they are so cheesey. I was going to retrofit them if I could headlights for a good price.

@@zzracer I have a video on my channel. It definitely feels quicker off the line and it's about a second quicker to 100. You lose top speed but you get there faster. 135ish instead of 155.
