Awesome! I didn't know induction worked with stainless but that is cool. Just an FYI, I bought the larger Stanley Base Camp set for testing and I like it a lot too. I don't know when I am going to shoot that video, but I feel like I give the slight nod to the large Stanley. With its extra thick base on all the pieces it just feels like fantastic quality. The GSI is great and has the rubber coated handles though. You can't go wrong but just wanted to put it out there so you could research it. Thanks for watching and commenting Overland Lady!

@@EvergreenOverland I wanted something small since I often go solo and won't be cooking for a football team. Hence looking for a nesting set that saves space. Otherwise, those cast iron huge pots would work. Yes stainless is magnetic so can use on induction. Not aluminum tho.

I have not done it but honestly I doubt it as well. I mean the silicone has got to have its limit. Maybe consider the Stanley kit I did a comparison video with here. I do like the GSI kit. I think the 2nd sauce pan is a much needed addition in what I want out of a cooking kit. 1 saute and 2 pots. I really like the heat coated handles and lid as well. All that to say if you forced my to choose I'd go with the Stanley Adventure Even Heat Camp Pro Cook Set. I actually bought this kit and plan on doing a review of it, but at first glance I just don't think the thick base even heat design they have on all the pots and pans can be beat. It is not light weight and you could probably find some thrift store pots and pans that would be a good solution too at this weight, but I love gear and bought it anyway. I am not disappointed in my purchase, they are solid. I bought mine on sale for $100 and I'd very they'll have another sale soon but you could always ask them if they'll give you a deal. They are $140 regularly. It has 3 pieces and if you were doing a smaller trip where you didn't want to bring the large pot you could leave that behind and still get the benefit of the even heat bottom. The GSI is great, but the Stanley get the nod. Thanks for watching
