GSP / BJ Penn UFC 58 Behind the scenes Part 1 

Both these guys are better than they were in the first fight. GSP's my boy but BJ is awesome. I think this will be the fight that sets the standard for years to come in the UFC and all MMA orgs.

haha Penn was 171 and cutted to 169 just to make people think he actually had to ''gain'' weight to fight gsp when in reality he had to cut it.

It is amazing how GSP improved from this fight to the second one. He is the true def. of what it means to be a martial artist. He gets better with every fight. But, I have to give bj penn props, he was giving him hell in the first fight.

I think Penn didn't respect GSP enough in this fight. He seemed more concerned with Hughes. This is only my opinion, but when I saw this fight and Penn was tired after only one round I said to myself "wow Penn thought he was going to walk right through GSP". Penn won't make that mistake again.

5:23 WOW GSP is huge compared to BJ Penn.... BJ Penn spent his whole career fighting at a disadvantage yet won multiple world titles ... he should have fought at featherweight .... still hard to believe he nearly beat Machida at heavyweight ... (I actually thought he won that fight)

One of the biggest factors in why GSP handled BJ so easily the 2nd time around was because of their difference in conditioning. GSP is just a physical specimen and is the epitomy of a true athlete. Penn on the other hand looks like he put very little effort or commitment into his conditioning going into this fight.

@ChrisAtWar93 Well he fought Koshcheck, Jake Shields, and Dan hardy after all of that. He was still dominant in those fights.

well gsp and matt hughes couldnt finish sean sherk and bj did. thats saying something if bj knocked him out and gsp couldnt

That is the main reason why BJ is getting his ass whooped he really dosent care for conditioning but if your fighting in a sport that takes a high level of athleticism than you need it and many people say this
