If he could explain in French and people understood, I think they would take him even more seriously when he speaks. I'm from Quebec like him, and when he speaks in French versus English, it's incomparable how much more confident and less hesitant he sounds. I just find that people tend to ridicule or not take him seriously because of the way he speaks/explains.
