On Tuesday, November 4th, Barack Obama was elected as the next president of the United States. Shortly after the news, excited students paraded from the University Commons down Piedmont Ave. to the capitol.
Hey, I'm a student at Georgia State University in downtown Atlanta, GA. It was about 2,000 of us. We marched to the Capital Building with police cars posted up making sure everything was good.
