JP, I called Brickhouse Guitars yesterday about the 000 Boucher at the beginning of your video. Roger called this morning said he still had the guitar and I bought it. Can't wait to get it! Thank you so much for your candor in your videos. I trust you so much. You tell it like it is! Roger is fantastic, he is so informative no pressure at all. Again, thanks for all you do!
would be worth it if you love good guitars! No more classic car insurance and maintenance costs... :-) I ordered a Boucher BG152GM from Boucher and it is simply an amazing guitar, beautiful and wow, what a sound , even compared to my 1970 excellent workhorse Martin D35, Coillgs CJ IRW(! wow) and Collings D42A and hand made Yamaha LL36, all amazing guitars, but the Boucher beats them all...
What a treat hearing and seeing all of these wonderful guitars. The Boucher is the star of the show!!! You will never need to look for another guitar once you get one. Try one, they have to be one of the finest guitars on this planet!! Thank you Robin Boucher.
Those fanned frets acoustics, and the pick up system like KK mini 2.0, brickhouse seems like a guitar shop one finds in dreams. Has both modern / cutting edge and vintage homage guitars. Staff that knows what they are doing + players themselves, oh and actually care about customers, quality guitars at all price points, No bad batches (they fix or even send back bad examples), luthier knowledgeable + repairs, online presence / worldwide shipping, guitars actually set up, good to large selection / inventory. Jake the snake sightings. Most shops maybe hit one or two categories above good. Brickhouse hits all above good. Even on the celly microphone, those Bouchers ring. I am floored. Thanks JP, you're helping us make the most of our guitar journey. My gf has gotten into an acoustic kick and she browses all these other sites / youtubers. The acoustic guitar forum / life / youtube either are marketing with afraid to call out the bad / and the ugly of things, or mis information to the max, or perpetuating guitar myths. Thanks bro.
Talked to Roger today, absolute gentleman to speak with. Going to have an SGI p/u installed on my 2008 Taylor 616ce and order a Boucher guitar, yet to be spec'd. Thanks JP, btw great show in Meaford, cheers!
J.P., you shoulda put a trigger warning on this video, due to all the explicit images of such amazing acoustics. It’s been a while since I’ve heard a new (to me) guitar being played that made me wanna sell everything I own and grab one right now, but that first Boucher your friend was playing at the beginning of the video...HOLY SHYT. I need one. I just bought a new Larrivee (my second Larrivee) a few days ago, and I already own a Meastro. Dang guitars. 😂 Peace. 🐰💙🇺🇸🎸🎶🤝✌️
I've enjoyed all the GSWJ episodes but I'm inclined to vote this one as the best of the bunch! At the start, it's just priceless having JP and Dave poking around, talking back and forth, and Roger playing softly in the background. I think I just might record the audio and use it as a sort of "calming therapy" when I feel like screaming at the stupidity of the world.
Excellent video! Very much appreciate the tour fellas. I’m curious to the sound differences you hear with the port on the Hozen guitars. I play an HD28 and Doc Watson Signature, do I get the jig saw out?😊
To bend torrified wood... You'd have to bend the sides before you torrify it. I doubt hide glue would survive the temperature, but when you put it in the kiln couldn't you put it in inside something hard and shaped to hold it's form, if you needed to? I'd love to hear torrified Madagascar rosewood as well.... What a great shop... I'd love to visit sometime...
Because of JP I bought a Maestro and had it sent to me in South Africa. The most insane sound. When I put that guitar in anyone's hand, they are speechless. And it's a parlor btw. Thanks JP
@@naturelife7536 let me tell you,the voicing that Hozen was taught from Erwin Somogy is incredible. The guitar has huge bass response, massive clear articulate trebbles, and plays like a dream. It's definitely not your run of the Mill guitar.
Here’s a challenge for you JP feature a Maton Custom shop on your channel plugged in and acoustically I think they will blow you away . Would love to see a Custom shop traditional or T E custom . Please do it. Aussies will love it
I'm hoping you will review acoustic guitar IR's like the LR Baggs Voice Print, the much cheaper TC Electronics IR loader pedal and the NUX Optima Air pedals. There is lots of product demos but no real comparison or opinion on these.
What is the brand of the amazing guitar demonstrated at 17.50 and on in this video. Hozen or Maestra??? Private stock?? I don´t see it among the guitars at Brickhouse. Don´t know what to look for.... Sounds fantastic!!!
I think the least Roger can do under the circumstances of you promoting Brickhouse so much, and also being scammed by the e-company you are with, is give a free Boucher guitar of your choice. Let's see just what a friend he really is.
