GT 1 or GT2? 2020 Kia Stinger AWD comparison

As the owner of 2 GT2's, I would absolutely choose it over the GT1.

I had GT1 in the past and now a GT2. The difference is huge, especially in the suspension due to the dampers. Also I love the head up display and the electric shifter

you care about power, get the GT1 if you want all the fancy stuff that usually just leads to problems and repairs down the road, get the GT2. I think the GT2 is great looking but not worth the extra 8K. Id rather is a GT1 and use the 8k to put performance mods like a tune, intake, struts, and cosmetic if you into that.

Great breakdown of the differences. As a single guy who rarely has anyone else in the back and not a fan of HUD I lean towards the GT 1. That said there is something nice about having top of the line. Decisions, decesions.

Love my gt2. The kia dealership near me is going to look like a Ford dealership with all of us trading in our mustangs for stingers lol

I believe the GT2 also has the posi rear end like the two wheel drive version. The GT 1 in the GT do not have it.

I really hate how u can't spec a car out anymore I see why they do it though, for the money grab. I feel like I want a gt2 but I don't want the gt2 price tag. A sunroof is a must for me, so that kills me getting a gt, has to be a 1 or 2 to get a sunroof. In a perfect 🌎 I'd get a gt with....... awd, sunroof, smart trunk, gt2 shifter (cuz the gt1 shifter reminds me of my 89 trans am gta, looks horrible, just needs a different shift knob handle and it'd be fine imo) heads up display. The rest (especially all the blind spot, lane keep, safety bs) I can live without.

I have an Optima SXL I’m really disappointed because if upgrade to a GT1 I’d loose birds eye view back up cam heated rear seats
