Letztes Jahr wurde viel geschraubt, doch immer wieder weisen die Zylinder schwachstellen und somit auch leistungsverlußte auf. Bei dieser Fahrt lag die schlechte Leistung an einem gebrochenem Kolbenring.
Mein Vorschlag zum weiteren Tuning, links ein Formel-1 Aussenspiegel (den Rechten weglassen), Miniblinker und einen Turbolader (wenn das denn für einen 2-Takter möglich ist.....) :-))) Ersatzweise wäre vielleicht auch ein Kompressor angesagt..... X7,s were either average or fast. I remember when my mate bought his in the summer of 78 and we would go out two up and his X7 would fly round the speedo to 110 mph which was probably around a true ton. Now bear in mind that we were both around 10 stone each. When I bought mine in 79 it would max out 105mph solo. The difference was in the finish of the ports from the factory fast x7,s felt like they had a stage one road tune.
@@billroberts5661 interesting comment, I remember it would be back in 79 when I was at collage, one of my mates had an X7 a few had X5’s and RD250’s But the X7 was the fastest of the bunch. The X5’s were only 200cc and were way slower than their 250 counterpart. It was amazing what a difference 50cc made. One of my mates had the original Dream 250 and even with some serious tweaking that topped out at around 85mph so the four strokes of the day were really no competition to the high reving two stokes. Then of course a few years later came the next milestone which was the RD250LC otherwise known as the widow maker. By that time I already got a driving licence and had already migrated to a sensible form of four wheeled transport. Great days, hanging out on a Saturday tinkering with our bikes, up to your elbows in grease and drinking copious amounts of tea and smoking way too many cigarettes.

Hallo, richtig: ohne Tuning geht das leider nicht... es wurden nur O.Teile verwendet, aber sehr bearbeitet und verändert... z.B. Alu Fussdichtungen, doppeltes Ritzel O-Ringkette usw. Leider musste ich feststellen das Billige China Kolben nichts taugen und somit war ich nur am Rep.!!! Laut Tacho (O. Tacho) lief die Gute 195Km/h wäre auch noch schneller gegangen wenn die Autos die linke Spur nicht andauernt belegt hätten... Der verbaute Tacho geht richtig-siehe LKW speed. Grüße Axel
@Gohstriderx7 Naja siehe LKW Speed... Bei deinem anderen Video auf der Autobahn kommst du dem LKW auch erst näher bei so 120 auf dem Tacho, also denke ich mal ganz normale 10% Tachoabweichung, was bei den 190 am ende auch 19 km/h sind. Also denke mal eher 170 km/h.
Absolut geniales Video!!! Aber für 27 ps.... Ohne Tuning bis zum geht nicht mehr ist diese Endgeschwndigkeit für die X7 nicht zu erreichen! Oder der Tacho geht um mind. 40 km/h vor ;-) Trotz allem, mach weiter so, liebe Grüße Alf, der selber stolzer Besitzer einer vorzüglich restaurierten X7 ist :-))
100% korrekt.... das da oben sind NEVER EVER originale 27PS... meine fuhr maximal 155. Trotzdem auch original ein Höllenanzug bei meinem Gewicht und den paar kg der Maschine, schmunzel
I had a blue X7 in 1979-1980 And it was really fast, And; Maybe I'm a Really bad driver!!! But; if you had it in second at traffic lights and reveved It up a bit to take off and clicked down in to first, it would lift up on the front! Especially if you had a Pillian!!! Because it was so light for its power! The Yamaha RD 350 was faster bike! But; Too, many young men lost their lives on these in Ireland!!! Espeally Racing from Cork to Kinsale! Because; they were too fast and unstable for their power!!! It was Really Scary when your doing 60 and it starts to wobble!!! I know the Honda 400 4 stroke was a bit slower, But it was heavier and had a damper! And Therefore Safer!!! I Sold it in the end because I Ended Up with 3 Stitchs on My Knee! Which got Infected and I Ended Up having an Operation! So be Safe and Buy a heavier bike with a Damper! So! "Bugger That!" And; Save Yourselves from; "Geting Stitched Up!"
also meine letzte x7 hatte ich 1991 und die ging ohne tuning und ohne anlauf 170km/h. wenn man jetzt die offene version hat mit 32 ps sind 185-190 sicher auch ohne Tuning drin.
