Big fish with this kind of line , you should loosen the drag and wait for a long time for the fish to get tired and then slowly tighten the drag. It might take 15 minutes or more to catch a big fish with this kind of line
Thanks a lot for your input. The line is good only bro. It took to the rock and cut the line. It’s a private harbour they won’t allow anyone inside. We will wait outside and cast the lure when the fish comes out. Once it took the lure, it will try to go back inside. Most of the time we can able to stop it. Some time we fail. In this the rod is also problem, it’s a jigging rod. I am experimenting its performance. Pls do check my channel for more Fishing video and share me your valuable feedback
Bro, In this place we can't fight fish with less drag, because fish will go straight into the harbour and cut the line. we can't go inside because its restricted area.
daiwa bg 8000 is little heavy reel. You need to select the rod based on the type of fishing you are planing. Kindly let me know what type of fishing you are planing.
Once hooked usually GT fish run towards rock to remove the lure. In this case, the fish ran inside the harbour which is behind that rock wall. so the line got cut. Also in this place we don't have anyother option, except the maximum drag. Need to fight the fish with maximum drag.
@@itshobbytime6136 yes line going out after hooked, that chance is given for fish to escape. you should set the max drag and rod to be heavy otherwise rod will broken.
