Vorab, insgesamt nices review! 👌 Du bist verwundert warum dein OLED screen so viel Energie verbraucht.
Its ok as a watch. It monitors heart rate at given times. Night sleep check is also ok. Everything else is either not available or either not working. No blood sugar, no Altitude, No working NFC (only China) No compass, No GPS so tracking is non existant. The app is useless except to change the watchface. Most of the watchfaces suck. Not waterproof IP68 but rather IP65. Conclusion for me : Testing 10+ Fake Smartwatches, this is the best as this one was the first to tell me my heart rate cannot be measured when I don't wear the watch. On that level the watch didn't give me fake measurements. Most fake smartwatches give you fake information so it is not really a smartwatch. I forgot the best feature of this watch : The battery. 5 days no charging. Others usually 2 days.
Where is the gps funtion? I bought it on shein and it shows it has gps. Also you can go in and turn of sounds permissions in settings under Bluetooth and it wont play all the sounds from your phone thru it. Still gets notifications and everything just sound. But if you want to listen to music thru phone have to turn that back on.
Yeah same thing here. Lots of things are not working as expected. Have it now in a drawer and waiting for a FW update which will hopefully activate all promised functions ...
I want buy the only wireless charge for this gt4 pro plus. Can you recommend me a store that sells only wireless charger for this GT4 Pro Plus? Thank you.
Mine arrived today from Temu, worked fine for a few hours but then screen brightness has gone really low. Went to brightness setting and its on full. Battery was almost full so didnt go into power save mode or anything like that. Switch off/on and no change. Did a factor reset and no change. Am I missing something or do I need to get a refund on a faulty product?
Hi there, has anybody tried to put your own (or Google WearOS) firm ware on it? I bought the watch, like the hardware and the sensors seem to be ok as well, but it is lackinig some functionality (NFC doesnt work with bank cards nor with Google or Sammsung Pay), the watch faces are not many and the customization is awful. The battery on the other hand seems to be big enough, so far I had to charge it about every other day. To cut a long story short, I thinkk the firm ware must be better, hence my wish to put my own (Google WearOS) on it. Any experiences??
Glad to know, that I was able to help - thanks for the positive feedback! 💖 just one question: do you already have it or planning to buy or I could "safe" you from buying? 🤣
No, I have the original Huawei watch gt 4, but I watched your video as a curiosity. This is a good review and thank You for your involvement. Sorry for the question, but I'm curious what accent you speak with, are you Scottish?
@@thomasgreenberg9723 Awesome - thanks so much. You made my day. Scottish? Yeah I wish and take it as a great compliment. I'm originally Swiss and still highly struggling with my English 🙈🙈🙈
@@allcheckout Your English is very good and I have the impression that you speak with a Scottish accent, I really do. Personally, I am Polish, but I lived in Britain for many years. Thank You for your review. Regards.
@@thomasgreenberg9723 Thanks my friend ❤❤❤. BTW: how do you like the "Huawei watch gt 4"? Is it worth the (quite high) price (for a non Android Wear watch)?
Yeah that's a good question. I think most people would assume that, but based on what I've seen from this watch it's NOT. The map on it is a scam to pretend to have real map and navigation on it, but it does not have that. At least I couldn't find something like that. There's a function called "motion track" and when I go there it says "no track" but that's it. If somebody finds this "function" please le me know ;-)))
If you go for fitness mode and choose walking/ running (but only from the phone app) after finishing your training the trac will show on this function.
Wireless charging yes ... but only with the included wireless charger and not with standard wireless chargers unfortunately. And it says NFC but of course not like with Apple watch or Android wear and I couldn't really activate the NFC function here ... You definitely won't be able to pay with NFC with this watch
Yes, but can't remember how much. Probably IP68 ... hence good for light swimming in a pool but don't use it in the ocean or jaccuzzi or shower. No hot water and not soap ;-)))
Thanks for the nice feedback. Yeah I heard that some time ago, sounds interesting, but not doing that. Even skipped my gym sessions completely since 1 months because of my laziness ... 🤣🤣🤣. Are you doing that?
@@allcheckout when google took over Fitbit and stuffed up my team of many years of our weekly competition, that stunned me. Had to find another app to do steps. I think Stride kick can have 1000 walkers in each event, instead of a week, it goes for a month. Lots of different levels to choose from, depending how active you are, lazy, there might be 5000 to 7000 steps per day, that's about my range at the moment... Too bloody hot, 40+ C it has been, but today, it rained and now it's cold... Can't make its mind up lol.
If you go for fitness mode and choose walking/ running (but only from the phone app) after finishing your training the trac will show on this function.
I think there is, but super basic ... not to make payments like with Android Wear or Apple Watch ... just for door access or so, but couldn't really test it .... never found out how it would work
