This becomes even more bullshit when you realise he is able to create explosives and run through many Colombian Cartel members shooting at him with relative ease.
It's interesting to note that Claude is the last GTA protagonist while Victor Vance is actually the first in the chronological order despite GTA III released before all 3D universe game
@@user-uo8ny1kj4c but I like that game. It has checkpoint for mobile, xbox and PlayStation. Plus gta liberty city stories and vice city stories on PC mod.
Man, that opening cutscene was one of the most awesome things I ever saw up until that game came out. Not that 3D was new, but the last GTA (GTA II) was a top-down 2D game with little to no story. Then THIS game came out and it blew my 13 year old brain. Yeah, I got this when I was 13 xD
@@Dank_Dank so a tax dodging company somehow manages to piss off every single protagonist voice actor of their games from the past even nico belic over what is essentially being underpaid for their work. Surely you can see that rockstar are on some shady shit if every person who works with them is disgruntled remember this is a company that doesn't pay tax in the UK either.
"if you need a piece go around back of Ammunation opposite the subway." as a kid I never realized how ridiculous that sounded as in game directions. now a days theyd just put text on the screen to tell you that and remove that dialogue hahahah
I find it amazing that Claude can get by excellently without saying a word. Haven't played the game yet but I'm getting it on my birthday (my dad loves videogames so he'll probably buy it as long as he can play too lol) and I already know that Claude is amazing. I absolutely love Michael, Trevor, Franklin, Tommy or Niko with their sarcasm and all but mute boy gives off such a cool-yet-kinda-soft vibe, lol. It might be that I have a tendency of liking the weirdest characters but-

You know, thinking back, there are very few people who were still alive at the end of GTA 3 who hired Claude! Donald Love was smart and vacated the god damn city.
I remember having this game seeing the first cut scene where they go into the little apartment in the alley or whatever and then once the game turned me loose I basically never did any missions because I was too much of a little kid to understand them
in LCS (released IRL in 2005 but taking place in 1998 in-game, thus a prequel to III) his mother tells him he looks skinny and should eat more... he took that quite literally.
@@shrek7901 Fuck yeah he is. He kills whomever so long as he gets paid for it. Have you seen a cutscene where he refuses to kill someone? Its even implied that he killed Maria in the end of GTA 3.
I reckon Claude wanted to shut her up so he shot the gun to spook her as a weird innocent little boyfriend girlfriend tease. In the end I think Rockstar wants us to decide what happened ourselves
It was a clean headshot. If he just shot in the air she would've screamed, not stay quiet that's not how she is lol OR at least say "I'll be quiet now". But he killed her.
I definetely think Claude shot and killed her because she knows what he does and seen him shoot all those Columbian Cartel members. That's also why she isn't heard on the news about the events. It would make alot more sense that Claude killed her than let her live.
@@coltgun876 that makes zero sense, if he was so worried about witnesses why didn't he kill the person who saw both he and her leave the dam? He has literally never done that before. Also if she was dead she would be all over the news "Mob Don's wife dead" breaking news. The reason why she isn't heard about the event is because Claude and Maria both escaped, no one died.
@@nikopriest6762 your just making assumptions, just because she is a loud mouth doesn't mean she would have screamed. For all we know the shot at the end could have nothing to do about Maria's fate but rather a closure to the game.
I realise how inaccurate this game can be with the yakuza. Since the yakuza is mostly a brotherhood it's almost exclusively men and the only women allowed are wives of patriarchs who may take roles of importance of their husband dies the clan becomes very loyal to the family of the patriarch but even then women I'm the yakuza don't exist and are classed as civilians working with the yakuza and not initiated yakuza themselves.
Right. Unfortunately, In liberty City stories, Asuka and Kenji’s brother, Kazuki was running the yakuza in liberty city with his wife, Toshiko until Kazuki gets killed by Toni and Toshiko committed suicide after Kazuki’s death (spoiler alert) which she wanted in the first place. That’s why both Kenji and Asuka stepped up to the plate
This whole game was a penetrationary for my childhood brain back in 2001 when I bought it in Moscow train station shop. Before this game I didnt know who columbians or jamaicans are
Claude has (canonically) been wearing the clothes you describe uninterrupted ever since he was doing motorbike stunts on San Andreas in 1992, with the exception of the time he spent in prison, when presumably he wore the orange jumpsuit you can briefly see on him before you complete the first mission. the other outfit you see in this video can be chosen in the game by the player, but it is not required for any missions and neither does it have any effect on them.
@@TrigramThunder you say it casually tho. How do you get that skin? I’ve been playing this game since i was little and I don’t remember the ability to change clothes.
@@Mr.PR2000 the other outfit is only in the PC version of the game and by extension in the mobile version which is ported from PC. It's not available in console versions at all.
idk why but the last cutscene of GTA 3 when i hear a black guy voice acting in this game for a cutscene (44:33), it's almost like the same voice actor of a character from GTA San Andreas (one of the grove street gangsters), and GTA 5 Franklin. it's awkward but it's awesome though, and it's very similar
I didn't even know if Claude doesn't talk until a week ago. I thought Rockstar made all GTA games which all the protagonists could talk since other characters in GTA 3 could talk but Claude. That's kinda strange Rockstar made that way though, that's why I was wondering and to make sure. I just purchased the game days ago on mobile and confirmed it, still if the reason was because voice actor it's odd unless they really wanna make him a mute character and that's understandable.
@@jonnylee8538 You gotta remember that its their first ever 3D Gta game so most likely they didn’t have a big budget and saved money on not having a main voice actor. Little did they know they really changed gaming.
