This game just feels so next gen in 2023 when it runs at 60+ fps. Forget the textures the game just still feels more modern than MOST open world games. I kinda wish the GTA IV source code was in the recent Christmas leaks so we can finally optimize modern games to actually feel modern by importing GTA IV Source Code into games like Cyberpunk or the Matrix UE5 demo. Cyberpunk with GTA IV physics would make the original developers sick by how much more finished and modern the game would be using a game engine from 2006 xD

I just wish these other company's would follow Rockstar's steps rather then try pumping out as much shit as they can as fast as they can.

Pretty crazy how well this game that was released in 2008 has held up over time. I remember gta 4 came out when I moved into my first place when I was 20 years old and one of the first things my friend/ roommate and I did, now having to pay rent and being broke college students was split purchasing an Xbox 360 and bought GTA 4 and we were just in Awe at what you could do in the game. It still looks fun to play even today.
