Gta 5 Challenge - Survive The Hunt #51 - The Tale Of Funny Truck 

You know it would be funny if you actually delivered a car to simeon in one of these. Could be a fun side mission that the hunters don't know about. You would then have to 1: find a car that simeon wants, 2: loose a 2 star wanted level without calling lester, 3: respray the car and 4: deliver it to simeon without being killed by the hunters in the meantime.

This Killer Alex arc has been one of my fav so far. Gotta love Alex actually doing something other than run

"And welcome to the... 'Alex forgets to change clothes again' show! Here we witness Alex being seen by hunters and him then continuing to wear the same clothes as if nothing has happend!" In all seriousness though, I probably would do nowhere near as well as Alex is doing in these... but I do think it's quite funny that he almost never changes his characters' clothes in these, while that would probably help him quite a lot...

It is silly (and slightly embarrassing) how happy it makes me to see a new "Survive The Hunt" video posted!!!

About Alex's comment on plans around 16:00, the proverb "Few plans survive first contact with the enemy," seems quite fitting.

FYI. When you start, one of the hunters should set a bounty on you. It lasts for 24 hours in game and you get a notification when it expires.

Hey Alex, here's a tip I learned recently that I think would be very useful for STH: If you equip a mask while your wanted level is blinking, it'll remove one star (and you can do so while in a car). It doesn't work more than once on the same wanted level, and it won't completely remove it if you only have one star, but it'll definitely help you lose the cops faster

like the new rules. makes the run challenging, forces encounters and is far more enjoyable to watch

Here are a few tips for your next hunts: Complete a Simeon repo job beforehand so you don't worry about his vehicles & wanted level when picking up vehicles Use better clothing Make use of other underrated methods (ie. motorcycles are super quick and agile they'd have no chance to catch in one, try it very late so even though they'd be able to use one after you've been spotted there wouldn't be much time left) Mod your cars occasionally: if you feel like your current car won't do you good (and if this is allowed) you can upgrade the engine, turbo and armor (and make tires bulletproof) to get the tankiest car possible, and unless the hunters find your exact car they won't be able to use that against you Use alleyways and uncommon areas/roads to lose them: some alleyways in the city will help you confuse the hunters

The Dock Tug (aka. The Funny Truck) is an interesting vehicle, it has good ramming ability somehow, but only if you sideswipe them, and they have bullet proof windows.

The "funny truck" is close to something in real life called a "Hostler". It's a truck used by the "Yard Drivers" at warehouses to move trailers in and out of doors as they get loaded and unloaded. They don't usually get driven on the open road unless the driver is fully licensed with a CDL, Commercial Driver's License. Until now I never knew those were in GTA at all. The truck in real life is called a Kalmar Ottawa T2.

Hell yeah we need another one roughly in the middle to get us through the month the waiting is definitely the hardest part

I feel like the Sultan rule makes it a really good incognito car.

This one was very fun, the wanted stars made it quite tense, and your choice to kill a couple of the dudes throughout presented a catharsis in return. Risk-reward style.

There should be a gimmick one where the hunters think he's going after Pri's but he's actually tasked with assasinating every hunter.

Also Alex is a very dislikeable person shooting at me

That "funny truck" is called a Yard Dog, they look like that because they're built specifically for moving trailers around a shipping yard and nothing else. So they're as compact as possible to allow them to work in the cramped yard better, they're the semi tractor equivalent of a shunting engine.

The "Funny Truck" is called a Yard Jockey. It mostly being used to move around (Jockey) trailers in distribution center's trailer lots (Yard). Great stuff everyone involved. Have loved your work for years.👍

You can't beat a traditional format survive the hunt! Just going after the pink one's and no gimmicks.

We call the "funny truck" a yard dog. Used to move trailers around a distribution center or cluster of warehouses. Not technically street legal most of the time, but that didn't really stop us from short runs between warehouses.

I love this guy's voice. I get totalbiscuit vibes, which is great to hear after he died.

Here's a suggestion for a future Hunt... allow Alex to use Lester and Cops Turn a Blind Eye... Once each... and at the half way point The Driver of The Blimp should be allowed to send a Mugger after Alex

The Simeon cars will no longer give you a wanted level after you have painted / sold one to him. Obviously involves a trip to Los Santos Customs and his dock site. But it may be worth doing that before you start the game?

I think it would be great if you could get multiple runners who can communicate with each other. Like you and 4 other talk and make plans with 20 or so hunters

I think he know Los Santos better than I know my own hometown. I find this both humorous and slightly depressing.

You’ve been winning most every STH for awhile. I wonder if you could allow the hunters another helicopter again to make it tougher to escape the chases like the old days. I really liked you needing the two stage escape back them, escape the cars, then the helicopter. Best series on RU-vid!

Entertaining as usual! Would love to see a "Survive the hunt - the train escape". Blow up a couple of cars, flee the city by train. Hop off in Paleto Bay, done! The train ride (and waiting for the train) will be like a horrorshow for both Alex and the hunters. I´ll bring the popcorn!

I feel like at this point this is more horror for the hunters than for Alex; it's hunters who actually struggle to survive the hunt...

Getting on the offensive is rare for you. Was fun to watch, lets see how the hunters adapt to it.

16:10 the funny truck looks like a Yard Jockey. It's the name given to those trucks that move semi trailers around at a warehouse or distribution center.

theres a "funny truck" that drives around my town irl. and i laugh everytime i see it. but as always love the content man, keep it up

A useful tip if you do this ruleset again. When you're out of sight of the police, if you put a mask on (or take one off if you were wearing one when you got the wanted level) you lose one star. You gain it again if you take the mask off (or put one back on) before you've lost your wanted level. Only works when you have 2 or more stars (i.e. it does nothing for 1 star wanted levels) but apart from that it's actually super useful (especially when you have a 3 star wanted level, as it knocks you down to 2 and you don't have helicopters after you).

I just discovered these videos and I am addicted, I have been watching for two days straight.🤯

There's so many times where I'm like "change your clothes, they saw you on foot" or "don't hang around that subway station, you ditched your last car on the tracks below it, when they inevitably check the tunnels you're screwed"

That funny truck is actually a shunting vehicle which purpose is to move containers and trailers around on company premises or airports

Love the Hunter driving the Greenwood. My Dad owned a Dodge Royal Monaco when I was in High School. White with the red top. To get the true experience of driving it, ditch your computer chair for a comfortable couch or recliner. Couch is better because it was a bench seat.

the new variations are really great, changes up the games and makes both parties rethink their strategies.

19:40 just earns ability to call Lester and doesn't see the OPPOTUNITY to use it to steal a cop car for a great troll strat!

All players get a pri...and must strategize how to protect them. You're only out if your pri is blown up. So respawns will work in the hunters favor. Players can go solo protecting or group up.. instead of you taking off to start the time, all the hunters go and "tag" their pri - spreading them out...forcing them to leave the immediate area. You can do this as a live stream too bc it will surely last longer than :48.. anyways, great job as always Alex and FR Crew👊

Yet another action packed pink killer episode

I have a couple of suggestions, 1. Hunters win if lets say 40% (percentage can be more or less so its balanced) of pris are not blown up, even if you survive 2. If there is a chase and time runs out chase continues until you have ran away or you are caught

Survive the hunt slowly turning into "Hunt the Hunters" series 😄 i think Alex needs to restrict his choice of weapons, just a little OP. And also the Taskmaster option really added some spice to the series. Once again, great video, well done Alex and the Team!

Funny truck, aka "yard tractor" or "shifter". Their purpose is to move trailers at warehouses and ect. They have a hydraulic piston that lifts the trailer up high enough to move it without the need to get out and wined up the trailer legs.

Superb =) But please take away some of you fire advantage as it more fun when you are more afraid of the hunters!

When you blew the third pre you could call emergency services, and request police so a cop car would show up and be a distraction.

Love this series Would like to see 3 runners against each other. So not only escaping the hunters but beating the runners to killing some pri which releases them to get to the extraction point.

Rewatching this episode, I think this might be the second or third highest number of hunters killed by Alex in a standard STH.

Your Pre killing STH's are my favorite.
