He purposefully puts it to 53 minutes whether he makes it or not because people were figuring it out...but sometimes, it's so bad ya just can't hide it.
When you do these duo-episodes, the person who dies first should be able to choose any car and troll the crap out of the chasers. It would be fun if the person trying to survive had a partner in crime whose only objective is to distract and ram into the others.
For sure, Alex of course had his learning curve while the hunters were having their's, Tom is going against people that have been doing this quite a while now though.
John Smith I doubt anybody would pick that as their car for no limit, and even if they did, the only reason you would pick that is to blend in and try to catch the player making mistakes, but driving on the sidewalk ruins that. Also hunters only go slow to observe cars, so If he was going that slow he would have checked Alex’s car out more.
But take into account the amount of time and prep needed and the issues that gta v servers sometimes have. He had explained this all in a vid last year. Yes they are amazing but you also need to take into the amount of time that is sunk into these vids, and why he can’t really do these every week.
@@fernandog.ramirez.6917 I know, I did not want it to end lol, I was hoping they'll keep going. Thoroughly enjoyed that. Surely its the best car channel on RU-vid
There was multiple things I'd suggest doing during this STH: 1: The hunters are gonna use big and heavy trucks to their advantage. Use those to yours. Try and make it so a death truck comes screaming through the subway and dislocates all the hunters, or use it to block narrow paths to make them waste incredible times. 2: Use faster cars instead of just what you'd typically use. They're going to use high-dollar aircraft and Formula 1 cars. The LEAST you could do is use Sultans or an Infernus if you spot it. Forget being looked at, focus on how you're getting out of a chase with the odds stacked heavily against you. 3: Walk around more. If you occasionally switch to on-foot, the hunters will never be able to find you if done correctly. They'll be so focused on checking cars that they have no reason to get out of the safety of their cars and check the sidewalks. 4: Mess with the aircraft. Taking one down without a plan in broad daylight alerts Death to your location, and escape would be nigh-impossible. If you could somehow mess with them to where they wouldn't be eyeing your location, you could strike then speed off without them even knowing how they were downed. 5: Nighttime. Everyone's vision is impaired at nighttime, and attacking here without a plan is your best way to defeat an aircraft without a set plan. Taking notes on top of carparks on the hunters could prove vital for the day ahead. I doubt you'll read this, but if you do I thought of a few tips when watching.
yeah, he was just about to get flipped a few corners along the way Alex is heading there, but it was a funny weird coincidence with the same exact car nonetheless
Idea! When the other survivors are out, change their role to defender: They can't shoot and aren't supposed to be shot by the hunters. They are visually distinctive from the survivors because they need to use a personal vehicle that has been made known to the hunters in advance. But again all of their aid must come in the form of good driving. Their role is to move freely around the map to scout, bash, obstruct, deceive, and if possible come to the survivors aid during a chase. This can even include the risky decision of arranging to give the survivor a lift if a chase has already commenced. Hunters CAN shoot any defender carrying a passenger and since the hunters have been informed of the personal car, passenger survivors should probably look for the first opportunity to bail. I don't know if defenders would be too much help. Probably not in 'no limits'. It could also be a double edged sword if your defenders are humans that make human mistakes. The rules are tailored to make things interesting and I don't think anyone would complain if it extends the length of the content while simultaneously allowing dead survivors to continue their role as an additional view port.
If you wanted a role for the dead survivor, I'd suggest they just get in an aircraft and scout. Letting them directly interfere while not always being a legitimate target is going to be confusing.
These no limit hunts are super entertaining. maybe even add a 3rd person to the people trying to survive. Let it be whoever killed you in the last hunt.
That's cheating and against the point. The point is to use land, not water where no one is allowed to go. That would be like telling him to hide in the map recorder's apartment, but they can't tell anyone.
This version was meh. I disagree with weaponized or special vehicles being used by the hunters. The avenger should be out. Big Bertha out. Ramp car out. So on and so forth. Strategy was formed early on by causing massive chaos via the special vehicles. Flip the cars...smash/shunt the cars. Observe. Repeat. Any flying vehicle with lock on capabilities could "accidentally" cycle past homing missiles and see you.
from 7:28 to about 7:54 is the most concentrated bit of shenanigans i think ive ever seen. also the whatever that was FLYING across your screen was absolute comedic GOLD.
@@gushino99 Same here. Especially after that situation in STH in Paleto Bay when he was pretending he is an AI and he was doing a dumb things and that's how he discovered Alex.
how about 2 lives each for the next no limits if there are two of you, (STH DUOS NL) and 3 lives if there is only one? with a 1 min blind eye to hunters in the respawn area so you can escape
Piece of advice maybe: the names aren’t very annoying so perhaps always showing the name of perspective instead of disappearing after a bit it might help to keep the name in the corner
lol I love watching this version of survive the hunt, it's so chaotic and you never expect what happens next, it would be amazing if you continued doing these. It would also be cool (as I saw from another comment) If one of the survivors [in a duo episode] (Tom or Alex) were to die early on in the round, then they would have the choice to choose a small and slow car to go around chasing the hunters and trying to distract them.
Alex, when are you going to realize or acknowledge that your friends cheat? They may not have shot you with missiles, but they targeted you with them. That’s how they found both of you so easily. I mean it’s obvious. Also, when you are racing them and they purposely punt you off the track, you ask them to forgive you! What’s that about? I swear sometimes I could pull my hair out. Try to be more assertive once in a while.
This looks fun, seems like a good opportunity to put my 7 years worth of playing this game enough to have seen every pedestrian model in the game and blend in.
I'm loving these Survive The Hunts where you bring in other people, it adds so much to the dynamic that you already have with the hunters when it's just you. Don't get me wrong, Normal Survive the Hunt is great, but sometimes seeing something slightly different is really nice too! Liking the variety as of late, and I'm really enjoying that you seem to be taking some risks on changing up the tried and true formula of Survive The Hunt. Looking forward to what you come up with next Alex!
The Savage was obviously locking onto you. You won't hear the beep driving those cars, and there's no way whatsoever they picked you out that mess...no way!
Great vid! Seems like we're now getting "proper" STH videos on the 1st of each month, and a second STH-like video around the 15th! (STH No Limits, the "alternative strategies" video, Gone in 48 Minutes Heists, etc).
Great that there's another Survive the Hunt episode. Actually, I think it'd be more possible if it were more survivors or lesser hunters. Like maybe a Hunt the Survivors instead as it'd be more evenly matched.
I left the video a bit after Tom died to go to work. 8 hours later, I resumed watching the video and Tom's voice came from no where. I'm here thinking there's some magical man in my head repeating my thoughts back at me before I realized that I was being very very dumb.
Alex, the next time you pair up with someone on a STH, you need to find a way to sneak yourself into the chase if your mate is being followed. With all the chaos going on, I would love to see how long you can blend in before they realize you are with them.
Anyone else get the impression that in these No Limits matches, for the Hunters finding Alex (and co.) is a secondary objective to just causing as much mayhem as possible?
