Awesome car, just got one, can't wait to customize it. It actually looks like it is based off of the 1977 V8 Vantage, more than the 1968 DBS, at least from the front end, though the back end does have more of the fastback look of the DBS.
I’d say the back’s more like the Vantage too because a DBS and early V8s have basically the same rear end but the Vantage has a ducktail like this does
I wish the grille looked more like the V8 Vantage, but I really like the mix of models on this car. Painted mine saxon blue with white racing livery, might take it off later but I think it looks tasteful.

The debate on this car is so stupid. It’s based on a V8 vantage primarily, especially given the name R* chose. What people don’t understand is this car was based around the appearance of American Muscle at the time namely the Mustang. You could build it however you want which is why they gave customization you would see on a Mustang or even Jensen Interceptor. I swear so many “Car Guys” get tilted over identifying cars in GTA where the developers literally take inspiration from several vehicles and mesh them into something that’s not quite any of them. It’s not a Vantage or a Mustang, it’s a Rapid GT Classic.

Are you sure? To me it looks like the 1987 V8 Vantage. Same shape same fin on the side same light design aswell. Also it’s called the Rapid GT Classic and the Rapid GT is a V8 Vantage
The list what should be done to GTA cars and racing is long like toilet paper. But either R* doesn't play game they made, doesn't care or company structure prevents people from passion from making game better. Public Street Racing is dead not because people don't like it, it's because it's done wrong way. People can't find it, don't see its happening, ignore any popups from phone (fucking Martin). And even when you find 4-5 players, you run one race and the fucking game gives you everything that is not Street Racing as a option for next race. You want Street Racing? How about Planes, Boats, Bicycles, Bikes, Special Vehicles, Stun Racing (that will throw you in Stun Racing map pool with no Street Racing) for your next map? I bought Rapid GT. And now what? Can't race with it. Seriously, you, Broughy and other "car guys" should make a some campaign to Make Racing Great Again. For next month release 1 video every day that points out the flaws and suggest solutions.
@@wulfgarpl your complaints don't seem to relate to my experience. I always find good racing lobbies, and stunt racing too they push the cars even further than they can go in street races

I know I'm really late, it is a mix between the DBS V8 and the V8 Vantage series 3. It can be 2 bond cars the one from "On Her Majestice's secret service", or the one from "The Living Daylights".
it's a mix of a aston martin and a mustang that's where the hoods and stripes of the liveries come from, you could tell because of the rear end as well that resembles a fastback
I think it's more of the 77 V8 Vantage, which I think is one of the best looking Aston Martins ever made. That next to the 1962 DB4 Zagato. But it look to be right in the middle of the V8 Vantage and the DBS

i guess rockstar decided that the 70's aston martin dbs look wasn't enough so they gave it a more muscle car look by adding some features of the mustang
I still watch these videos but don't actually play gta anymore, gta o is just a cashgrab for rockstar now. They keep adding more expensive cool weapons that are inaccessible for anyone who doesn't buy sharkcards or does mods and it makes impossible to do freemode missions because keep getting blown up so you end up buying sharkcards yourself or, what i did, just stop playing

I'm just tired of the game, it's either doing boring grinding to get money or buy sharkcards and for what, having fun for maybe a few hours with the new content
