The subway ring (which is on more than just this car in game) is not a tow hook it is a part of Japanese drift culture they steel them from subways an put them on there car it is said that once it breaks your car is finally low enough
Don’t let this distract you from the fact that Hector is running 3 civics with Spoon engines and on top of that he just came into Benny’s and ordered three T66 turbos with Nos and a Motec system exhaust.
Fun fact: the subway ring is called a tsurikawa. Street racers in japan would steal the handle bars from buses and hang them on their cars, both inside and out. There have actually been a few other cars in GTA w tsurikawas.
@@sinisterdeer7601 any car that comes out that looks almost exactly like the real thing, I'll try to make it look as close as real life. The Vamos (Nova) I made it look as close as possible as a Yenko Nova.
6:40 the hood is a part that used spacers if the car has an added intake. The spacers make it easier to release heat to prevent overheating since the hood opens from the windshield to the grill.
@@easypete975 when you use engine risers for lowered cars you need hood spacers to allow room for the engine’s increase in height. The clamshell hood design is not used on the civic here nor do hood risers help with heat extraction nominally enough to be considered a benefit of hood risers
Hi, the bonnet/hood as u say in USA opens slightly to help disperse heat from the turbo as when the boost is turned up they really glow just like an electric oven. Also, when u said it looks like a motorbike battery, it's a lightweight racing battery. I don't know why America was (as in, used to be) so far behind compared to Europe with hot hatches. When I was a kid, my Dad had a Series 1 Escort RS Turbo (PLEASE GOOGLE THIS GORGEOUS CAR), they were only available in white apart from 7 black ones and 2 red ones (or the other way around). As my Dad's car was a Stage 2, which I think was 220bhp (130bhp from factory), he had the kit which made the hood open slightly to let out the heat. It looked really strange at 1st, but when you got used to it, it actually looked really cool. They were made in limited numbers and we're only made in 1984 - 1985 before it was replaced with the Series 2 RS Turbo. The Series 1 was far cooler in my opinion and most fast Ford fans. I've seen a few on eBay lately and the really, really clean ones are reaching £30,000.
Duncan Harris I thought the lifted hood was also to fit a different bigger engine that normally didn’t fit. Is that also a reason? I think I remember hearing that for like the h22 or something.?? Correct me if I’m wrong just curious.
It's because we love our trucks so much, and more recently crossovers, we like big cars in North America for the most part. Meanwhile, bike lanes are going in everywhere, parking lots are designed for smaller vehicles now and everyone's still driving a lifted dually or gigantic SUV Crossover. We don't get any of the fun stuff that Europe and Japan gets, and if we do we get a castrated version of it
You can get similar results using washers. I did it to my car because I didn't want to buy one with vents or cut holes. It did work because I can see the heat coming out of there when it was raining also my firewall was a bit cooler.
@@louisGC28 so sorry for the late reply, but no, it was for cooling reasons. When driving, the wind would rush over the bonnet causing a vacume effect to help draw hot air out. The faster you went, the stronger the vacume became. Again, so sorry for the late reply. Hope you are well
In Japan the subway ring was kind of a middle finger to law enforcement . Before the rings was sold by after market companies people would have to steal them from the Japanese subway trains. Since we are supposed to be a society of obedient people it became a sign of disobedience . It's not for towing . The lifted hood is to help cooling on track cars.
The lifted hood is so you can use the airflow wash over the body to pull excess heat out of the engine. Early Civics overheated pretty easily and this was a cheap way (couple washers stacked on each bracket) to battle that without cutting holes in your hood or cramming a bigger radiator in.
hahaha two whole ass years past and nobody gave two shits on your stupid liveries that I bet you took pride on to comment hahahahah zero likes... fuckin' tool man
Your Dinka Blista Kanjo looks amazing, I’m looking forward to seeing the speed test video for this car. Excellent video as usual Digital Car Addict, keep up the good work and get well soon!
@@tapia1878 funnily enough i uninstalled the game lmao. i just got really bored of grinding, being level 350 and have done everything within the game, just didn't have any incentive to keep playing unfortunately
I really enjoy watching your car customization videos even doe i am addicted to helicopters in the Gta onlline, but i by cars as well and by watching your videos i getting an ide on what customization the car has, and i might buy the Blista Kanjo now because it has a ton of customization and it look pretty sweet also! Keep it up man!
This car is beautiful, love to see more Hondas and Civics in the game, love like a Coupé version of this so we can recreate the scene from The Fast and The Furious movie, anyway I love this, also love to see a Civic Wagon too
I’m happy this car came out. I love the EK9. I tried to make mine as clean as possible but not stock. It looks really good. The interior is basic but it’s not terrible.
This car is awesome. They did a good job making it real. I had a 91 Honda Civic Lx, 2 door hatch as my first car. It was red, 1.5L, vinyl seats, and only a driver side mirror. No passenger side mirror. It lasted 13 years until the road salt got the better of it unfortunately. It was a good car. Lol
Fun Fact: Some of the liveries are inspired by the Roulettezouko racers of Japan who race the Kanjo Loop, hence the name of the car! The finger bang is based on the No Good Racing Team which is legend in the culture! 🔥
Something that blow my mind when I saw the liverys is you guys saw the one he put on real street racers in japan use them and there crew only races civics is crazy that rockstar even found it they are call (no good racing) you can search it up if you don’t belive me they even got a similar logo😮
Im glad that the Civic is finally out and finally its over with Southern SA Vehicles 1 more Week until the F1 Car/Cars are coming and i hope u feel better soon DCA
for the lifted hood it’s mainly for certain civic engines that tend to over heat in different civic body’s. lifting that let’s cool air from outside to come in and heat to get extracted out. i asked a friend who had an lifted hood.
Rx7 would be real nice, for me i have never been a fan of the Supra back when i played Forza 4 i had a car called the Supra Killer (a older Jag) I use to beat every Supra in drag race, but it might be a fun car on GTA5
6:37 the lifted hood option is a thing that people do when they Drag Race civics, its somthing that makes the car more aerodynamic and eaiser to remove.
They do the lifted hood because some people swap the newer bigger civic motors into the old ones. The civic type R came with a 1.6L engine and the newer ones go all the way up to a 2.4L. The problems with having the 2.4s in the old civics is that it has a taller deck height and you either gotta drop the motor lower into the engine bay potentially risking busting your oil pan or spend $5 on some washers to lift your hood a little bit.
I got both of them in the first ten minutes of them both coming out ,, the kanjo is more tuner and car meetish and the sugoi is more practical , faster and more seats,,,, but at the end of the day I would recommen the kanjo because its more fun
Hood lift explaination: The purpose is for heat escape from the engine bay but I think most people do it as a trend. If you race for long periods of time and notice your engine overheating it could provide a very slighty cooling effect. source: www.cargurus.com/Cars/Discussion-ds515540
