I like how the hang outs are spaced out so as to not get too draggy, but it's hilarious how it feels like a friend who keeps dragging the conversation back to their favourite topic as the other friends awkwardly try to talk about something else
@@diegopugaquintanilla4344 Not really, dude said something negative about a popular game in the comment section of a video that's likely to be full of said game's fans.
Man the Hangout Chats are actually very under appreciated imo. They actually give some good story points that most people will likely just do once for their 100% checklist
In GTA IV your friends called so much that it was obnoxious and the backlash from the fans was so much that they decided to do the exact opposite in GTA V. So much that I've never had any of the NPCs called me for a hangout, and made me miss a great chunk of the characters backstory by doing so.
Franklin: "But turns out none of them knew shit about nothin'" Matto: " _Obviously you have to know something about something or you couldn't tie your shoes!_ "
3:31 it’s so nice to have closure about how Trevor forgives Michael and knows that Brad was a bad person, I already knew how Trevor felt but this was really good dialogue
The panto roof at 11:30 is not the only case. You can also remove the panto's bumpers this way. There are a numerous amount of vehicles this can be done to including stuff like the Hotknife, Coquette Classic, Rat Truck and Elegy. There are more of course and on each vehicle it's a different option that works. On many vehicles that have stock spoilers and no option to remove them this can be used to remove the spoiler (as an example on the Elegy). Just look up GTA 5 Elegy No Spoiler and it'll come right up.
2:06 I believe is a common trick to give characters taller shoes or heels. This only requires swapping out a part of a character's model while actually increasing their size could have many unforeseen consequences.
6:56 while Michael is at the observatory, the gun’s pov is actually on top a building in downtown. You can see on the left how far you are from the hills
2:06 This is standard for 3D modeling as the shoes are not objects that the character stands on but are actually a part of them. To avoid messing up the animations, legs are usually resized so the feet are always at the same position. It's possible to make work arounds for this but unless the game is super focused on clothing like a dress up game, it's way easier & time efficient to just edit the legs instead of creating a system that repositions the entire character based off what shoes they're wearing. Sure it looks weird here while you're switching outfits but for the rest of the game you won't notice the difference so it's not worth the time it would take to "fix" it.
The first glitch reminds me of something similar you could do in GTA:SA where it would turn CJ into a spaghetti monster if you held backward and then tapped pedal really fast on a bike.
@@youdbettertube i have tried. Whenever you try to initiate a hangout with a family member that you can physically see, the call will simply say "busy".
Hello Darkviper au If you didn’t know the captions on the bottom of the screen with time stamps at 11:06 it says infinite fire on Nervous Ron but I think you meant “Infinite fire on Crystal maze.”
the fact about the ambulance lights (at 11:41) is actually intentional - thats called a decal and they are EVERYWHERE in video games. decals do need to be floating just a bit from the surface - why? its to prevent z-fighting. i good use for decals could be for monkey mosaics if u use mods to have a free-cam u will see. what are decals? decals is a simple geometry (typically a plane) which has a textures on it to sell the illusion and keeping your pc in 1 piece. why use decals? its to help you work non-destructively. i will give you an example: when you are working in photoshop do you use only 1 layer? or do you use multiple to not completely destroy everything you do? its easier to change something when its in different Ps layers - right? thats what devs do as well. back to the ambulance, i am not 100% sure but my guess is that the reason why they went with decals is cause hiding it and un-hiding decals is less demanding on your gpu/cpu - like turning the visibility on and off of an mask layer on a folder in Ps is way easier and faster than having to go one by one and disable the mask on each layer.
Trevor talks about the events in North Yankton as if he wasn't the one Michael was trying to kill. He briefly questions it during Bury the Hatchet, but it looks like he thinks Brad was the intended target now.
@@RochRich. Yeah, so if the hangout takes place before Trevor discovers the betrayal, then this is probably what he thinks now. Brad being the target and all.
8:30 - There are vents like that all around the map. Also helicopter miniguns do make them explode too, making them useful for taking cover unless the enemy has an helicopter. 11:25 - there are a few cars in GTA Online with this glitch too. Coquette Classic is one of them.
12:20 is something you can have a load of fun with. Being on the back of the boat while it's being pulled around seems like something straight out of a mission.
11:28 the coquette classic have it too, in the entire back, also the rat loader at same way, but in the rat loader, has no phisics so he can just enter into another cars, have other cars too but for now is all what i can remember
DarkViper forgot to mention another fact: 2:58 the word “d*ck/s” is mentioned 6 times in this one conversation! Yes 6 times. That’s a lot of d*cks to be honest.
if you go to the director's mode, Open a parachute and with explosive bullets, you shoot on your own parachute, while turning the character to go up and left, You can reach the stars how high you can get while doing it.
11:25 the invisible panto roof glitch can also be done with the truck bed for the Bravado Rat Loader the same way. It removes the bed giving you a glitched chassis with no collision and no rear bed.
The only other instance of actual vehicle parts disappearing that I've seen is the Pfister Comet. If you do the same glitch wi9th that one & it's spoiler, the entire trunk will vanish only leaving a decal for the trunk. There are other vehicles that allow you to remove just the basic spoiler, like the Ocelot Jugular, the Imponte Ruiner ZZ-8, the Elegy RH8, & a few others.
11:36 there are more cars you can do that to, for example on the rat loader you can remove the whole trunk that was which even removes its hitbox for other vehicles. One part of the hotknife used to work too, but i couldnt get the glitch to work lately. Maybe there are more car. PS: the bumpers of the panto work too
Fun Fact: On Trevor’s heist after “scouting the port” the guy that run ammunation with the shooting range he has a bunch of dialogue and everytime you walk in the ammunation or walk out of the shooting range you can see the dialogue
Hey matto or whatever you're name is i think i encountered a extremely rare bug ok so I was on a old save file not my 100 percent save file and I fell through the road and I forgot the start of the glitch was the gta 5 logo and kept falling through the road
OMG NO!!! the whole exhaust thing is wrong, it's bouncy value that dictates how deep a car can go without stalling (I made a whole video about that years ago)
@@DarkViperAU I meant "buoyancy" not "bouncy" value 🤦♂ I think it was in a Fan Facts video... but for all intent and purposes the result is the same (since larger vehicles have the exhaust higher up) I am only sure of it because changing the buoyancy value is the only thing needed to drive underwater (no health/god mod/repair loop needed). and don't bother removing it, no one will ever notice this anyway
Wel found this video of yours from years ago, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q6cfXgEok0I.html I guess that wasn't it tho? I actually already put in the edit with the youtube editor, I will revert it after it is finished.
@@DarkViperAU no, that video was the trigger since something felt off when I made it... either way it's really not a big deal, I just had a bad day and am tired. sorry if I seemed harsh
I know Matto doesn't activate subtitles for speedrunning purposes, but it could be useful for Facts & Glitches. English isn't my native language so I had trouble understanding the drunken dialogues! Anyway, great episode!
What’s interesting with the plane shoot down mission is the position of the camera, iirc, is actually on a skyscraper across the freeway from Vespucci beach. So, like, really far away from where the van is.
