You forgot, no dead silence or irritating music that plays throughout the video while we're forced to read through subtitles that barely (or don't) properly explain the point.
I guess it may just depend on the type of console to how easy it may be. I tried it on Xbox 360, it took me a day or two, but I was finally able to attach a spoiler to it. It wasn't much, but to even see this sorta difference was worth it. Keep trying bro, I'm sure you'll eventually get something, or you can try a mod to speed up the process.
If you use the fully upgraded Benefactor Dubsta SUV it'll give you most of the customizations on the cop car minus the exhaust. I've been playing around with this for over an hour now lol
@@Blackout_1692 Saints row 3 allows everything, it's like GTA meets Gary's mod... It's good and bad, kinda cool but gets stupid. They should allow custom cop cars though.. restrictions that don't make sense, are the biggest downfall of games like this that are otherwise near perfect.

November 11 - 2020: This 3 year old glitch still works like a charm. Also, I recommend to save the cop car in a garage before, then take the fully customized vehicle to the garage, and exit the garage with the cop car. Then do the glitch and you will have both a fully customized random car AND a partially customized cop car
This also worked with a taxi as well. I did an upgrade on the engine and transmission with turbo to EMSthree and picked up a fare for the taxi and went to point view for the player or driver point of view and picked up a fare and got to the Destiination really fast and got a thanks and a tip. Thank you for sharing.
By the way, my police car now has max armor, engine, transmission, and turbo upgrades because of this technique. It's now it is also magically fast and powerful as they usually are only when a cop is driving it. lol Awesome. Just noticed the horn also transferred! lmao I used a Vapid Sadler Utility by the way. King cab truck. UPDATE: Armor did NOT transfer 100%. It is stronger than a stock cop car, but I'd estimate it at about 50% armor at most. And you DO have to purchase upgrades before stealing the cop car. Tried a car I already had upgraded and stored but nothing transferred.

Try this with the buffalo police cruiser it will Randomly spawn at the police station u were at in this video u just have to be there at the perfect time it kind of spawns randomly its pretty hard to get but before u possess it use the pedestrian version of the buffalo not the one that franklin owns the regular buffalo every single upgrade from the regular buffalo will be on the police buffalo exhaust bumpers hood spoiler and so on... And its the only police vehicle to do this with where every single part will go from one vehicle to another
I actually stole Michael's car and did the glitch right now. It only gave me a small spoiler, and different rims than the ones i bought for Michael's car. I don't know whether the transmission, engine, and all that other internal stuff was applied to the cop car.
I was pretty skeptical when watching the video, but I took your word for it and tried it. Can’t believe it actually worked. I will definitely like and subscribe. I used a Dominator... I got a set of rims (not the set I chose but still cool), the custom tires, spoiler, turbo tuning, and xenon headlights all on the police cruiser. Thank you so much for this tutorial, and a big thank you to RU-vid for showing this in my suggested video’s list.
Months later, I still use this glitch all the time... I just did it with a cement truck a few minutes ago... I turned on the headlights, and drove in the water until they shut off, and then when I came back to the character, the cement truck had custom tires, rims, and xenon headlights 😂
I'm gonna do that with Police Buffalo/Charger because it's likely the fastest police car and it would look cool with the customizable stuff on. Thanks buddy you deserve million subs
U can get horn,window tint,bulletproof tires and custom exhaust on the police car And if anyone is wondering U can do this with the liberator monster truck too

This doesn't work with Police Riot. I checked the custom tire and also armor (by counting shots at it). This works with all other police cars EXCEPT the police riot
This method works with the police car the liberiator the ambulance the fire truck the marshall and the bigass truck that is used to pick up the dirt + the taxi and the tank
@@-Hermes mod a SUV and drive around the excavation area. it is a 100% guarantee spawn down there but ull need to drive it all the way to the docs which is painful
I found this out about 3 years ago... Sort of... Train totalled my cop car soon after i ditched "my ride" so switched characters back and forth and it give me a heavily modded cop car!!! But no longer... (patched?) method above i found out about a year ago and still works... I have managed to mod every cop car type including unmarked and suv (marked and unmarked), ambulance and taxi/cabs.
M E i also know the feeling of figuring out a glitch, looking it up and discovering noone has made a video on it - a couple of years back when i used i play i discovered a glitch where if u were riding on your own car (insured etc) y could have it repaired and delivered to you for free, i believe it had something to do with calling simeone 😂😂
After like 6 months, it still works works. Though I Don't think It's possible to have all possible mods at the same time since I can't get the custom Bullbar unless I sacrifice something else like the Spoiler or Exhaust
@@ozziecrosby2092 Keep trying with different cars. Like the Asea, Ruiner, Panto, Coquette, and anything with a nice amount of customization. Shit like hood, spoiler, exhaust, bumper. If you beat the main story mode you have all the money to spare
Love this how to, I jus tried it an it works on both the police taurus an I got ahold of a Buffalo ( charger) an it worked on that as well, not every mod changes over but the xenon headlights, turbo, rims, an tires changed so far, haven't tried the taxi or the crown vic police vehicle but I'm gonna try those next.
I got the spoiler and the wheels is like to try it again to get the custom hood as that’s what I had on my PS4! I did it with the Phoenix to get the spoiler and the wheels! Still works great! Thank you dude
You forgot the turbo tuning as well I dunno if it's on a specific vehicle to get it so I will try the EXACT way including the car tho the colour is white
I like the hood you got on the cop car I got a different one you also get bumpers, the horn so pick a cool horn! :-) also that front bar-bumper gets 3 tubes wich is different from the original one you also get turbo upgraded transmission and engine upgrade
